On 2/10/11, I paid $210 for a dinette set. I told the owner (Mike) that I would pick up the table around 2/28 (my move-in date). He rarely ever answered his phone. He agreed to deliver both 3/6 and 3/9 and was a no show without calling. I called a # that was listed on the website & left a message after eventually speaking w/him & he was rude.A guy named Mike also (from Florida) returned my call Thursday, 3/10. He spoke with Mike in Greenville and said that he had agreed to deliver it the same day. I called around 5 & asked him if he had the correct address b/c when I purchased the table, I didn’t have my current address. I gave him the right 1 & he said that he could be there before 7 p.m. When 7:15 p.m. came, I called to inform him that I wanted a refund, because it was too late to have furniture delivered. He said, “we have it loaded, we’re on our way”. I said, “no, I just want a refund”. He said, “at first you said you would pick it up and now it’s a problem. You gave me the wrong address”. I said, “ I would have, but you never answer your phone”. He said, “ I work 7 days a week, the only time I didn’t answer my phone was Tuesday”. I said, “ I never called you Tuesday”. Mike: “Yes you did”. I then said I don’t want to argue, and I just want my money”. He said, “are you sure you want your money back b/c last time you said it & then you wanted us to deliver”. Me: “Yes, I agreed to get it delivered because Mike, from Florida, said that he would try to reason w/you & get the delivery for free since you had been so rude”. That is when he stated, “you just want to get a free delivery. I don’t want to deliver to you because you’re rude”. He rambled, & when I would try to get a word in, he would say “blah, blah, blah, blah”. All I could say was, “you need prayer”. Then he ended the call by saying, “F*CK YOU, & F*CK OFF”. I am appalled at his poor customer service. He was very childish & ignorant. He said it would take up to 14 business days to return my money, & I will be patiently waiting.
