magazine scam
7-12-10... i sent this college kidn his way WITHOUT A CENT after he spent 25min tryin to talk me and my 5 yr old into buying some magazines...
7-13-10... i got home from a hard days work...GUESS WHAT...my loving wife purchased some 4wheel off road mags for me... and that muthafukker even let my kid pick them out... same guy came back to my house 2 days in a row... we have to do the math here people i typed "atlantic circul" and bings autofill comes up "atlantic circualtion inc. refund scam... search that it will give 3.5 million reults... multiply that By $51($36 for mags... $15 s&h)... right away we cancelled the order 2days later...now ive been fighting with them for nearly a year...CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PEOPLE ITS SOME KIND OF PONZI SCHEME!!! WE HAVE TO SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN!!! OR START SHOOTING EVERY COLLEGE KID WHO IS TRESSPASSING, SOLICITING, OR SCAMINGHARD WORKING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY

i ordered magazine from a young on 11/19/2010 and never recd them it is now 06/01/2011, am very upset over my stupidity

received no magazines
I live in washington state near seattle and i believe atlantic circulation are scammers. A young girl came to my door wanting to raise money for a trip to europe for her graduating class. I said ok how can i help, then she offered magazine subscriptions and i picked one out and wrote her a 51.00 dollar check. At the time i was living in an apartment with my boyfriend and we were already struggling to make ends meet. I thought i was doing a good thing for this girl. But instead i think i got the same scam that a lot of people been getting. It makes me really mad that when i call the customer service number its a dial up tone. i think something needs to happen so this doesent happen to someone else.

Fraud
I ordered three subscriptions for magazines from a girl who said this was a contest for her high school to see how many she can sell. Guess I got suckered by her lies. Unfortunately, the next time someone from the high school comes to my door to sell something I will refuse.
Atlantic Circulation Inc needs to control their receipts better to avoid the black eye this is giving them. Because of this, I will not do any business with anything that is connected with Atlantic Circulation and have notified the high school & friends to do the same.

Scam
Two young adults knocked on my door. My wife answered the door and they affored her a years subcribetion of magazine for 36 dallars. They told her that they where in a contest to see who can get more points, each magazine had a certain amount of points that they where worth. They also said that the winner gets money towards college or to start a buisness, as well as a paid two week vacation to anywhere in world, they said it was "pretty cool". My wife purchased a subcrition then she showed me the reciept and told me the story, i had doubts so i look up company aand i couldn't find anything except for a lot of complains and the word "SCAM". This was today at 8:30 pm in Twentynine Palms CA. I attached a picture of the receipt. DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE WE WHERE!!!

scam
A young lady came to my door and as broke as I am I decided to do something I normally do not. I signed up for a magazine subscription and wrote her a check for $53.00 She advised she was home schooled and this was how she was going to pay for her graduation celebration trip. I remember her saying she was going to Maui and she appreciated it so much she was going to send me a post card saying thanks. I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna get my money back and hope that this company is sued and put to an end by someone who has the funds to do so. I unfortunately a full time student and worker barely make ends meet and can not. This really bothers me. I called the number 717-755-3484 about a month ago, received a call back and a voice mail apologizing for the delay. They said it would be within 3 months. I do not want the damn magazine, I'd rather ring that girls neck for my $53.00 I left another voice mail today and I submitted a request for refund on their website which is probably bs! I plan on going to my bank to see if there is anything I can claim as far as fraud. Cheers to being stuped and wripped off.

Magazines ordered on good faith by door to door salesman. Check cashed but no magazines ever received. Read multitude of other complaints with the same scam. What can be done about this!!!

order a magizine from this young fellow and he talked me into cash instead of a check boy ordered it april 18, 2009 and still nov 1 2009 and no magizine.. i feel sorry for the next one to try to sell me a magizine . even if he is leget i will personally thrown him or her off my property and call the police. this atlantic cirsulation is the biggest ripoff i have delt with. all the things i see on tv and the news and i let myself bite on it.. fair warring if you want that companys magzine call them direct and i sure they will wll TALK TO you and your a deALING WITH THE COMPANY ITS SELF NOT NO KID. I FVEEL SORRY FOR THE GUY WHO SAID HIS NAME WAS WADE I REMEMBER WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE AND I DONT FOIRGET.. HOPE HE SPENT THE MONEY WISELY FOR IF I SEE HIM SORRY FOR HIS LUCK...
