Att dailup service migation from worldnet to att.net
On the internet following their instructions the only choice you have is to pay by credit or debit card to save your old e-mail account.
Called the number provided and was given the run around transferred at least 20 different times.
All I wanted to know is why they didn't give a choice to pay by check since I have been with the company almost 10 years. Nobody could answer that question and told me that they should be able to take payment by check over the phone.
and finally talked to a person that represented themselves a s a supervisor ( Ivan badge # IC774K) and he told me that the system will not allow payment by check or any other method.
I stated to him that a lot of people do not have a credit or debit card so what are they supposed to do.?
He replied get a friend or relative that has one and use theirs.
I replied why can't they bill on my phone bill like they used to or take a payment over the phone using your check account. He had no answer.
To me this is totally discremitory, and wanting to subject more innocent people to identity theft and fraud.
