Contacted this Law Firm about a transgression made by a collection agency (United Recovery Services) about my neighbor and their financial problems, informing me of their personal debts.

This law firm advertises here on this complaint web site. After months they call back and inform me that an offer had been made for $500.00 plus attorney fees of $3000.00. I said no at that time. All or nothing.

Krohn & Moss called back, starting last Tuesday, stating that I had no case unless I settled for what was originally offered and urged me to accept.

WTF? they reap 600% of the settlement, or 6x's what I would have received?

What sort of punishment is that to the offending company? as I told them i means they are only in the business of enriching themselves and do not appear to be in the business of seeking justice.

I refuse to sign off on their deal! Better nothing than what is offered.

I urge other litigants to be wary of any Attorney that tells you they can get you XXX amount of money for you frustrations and damages... Most likely they will get the lions share.
