I paid this attorney 925 to do a divorce for my boyfriend thats incarserated on May2, 2009.I been getting the run around every after i paid i turned in all the papers by July. I kept calling for a court date lawyer never answers . I always spoke to the receptionist Mr Jay at the office but he never knows nothing tell you to call the lawyer. Finally in August 22 i got a hold of the lawyer and he said court was Septemebr 18, 2009 at 7 am room 310 and hung up in my face .I called back and said he just hung up in my face where do i go mr jay told me 1115 congress. So when sept 18 came i went to court waiting on him and the wife .I was waiting in the court room and during roll call they never mention either one of there names.I called the lawer he came up there and said he forgot the file at the office he will call me and reschedule.When i got home i called the district clerk office gave her the case number they gave me and it was not for a divocre but for a paternity test.I asked her can she tell me when a divorce was filed for the two parties she said a divorce have never been filed.I called the office told the guy mr jay what i found out he said the lawyer was very sorry that everybody makes mistakes.I told him i wanted my money he said they will get me a court date i said no no thanks and hung up.i just want my money back i dont want to deal with this company
