AUCTION LISTING EMPLOYMENT AGENCY Reviews

False Statements & Claims
I signed up with Auction Listing Employment Agency for their services to become a list agent with them. The ad stated the income or potential earning by listing products offered by Companies that paid to outsource listing efforts. I received a booklet titled "THE COMPLETE RESOURCE GUIDE: YOUR STEP-BY-STEP PLAN FOR BECOMING A SUCESSFUL AUCTION LISTING SPECIALIST". The instruction manual only describes the listing terms and methods for EBAY. I have been doing EBAY sales for over 8 years on a personal basis and was very familar with the requirements to complete an EBAY listing. I completed the coarse and was now told that I must join a company named DORA that offers products to sell at wholesale to me. I was then instructed to pay another $197.00 to join the Auction Listing Employment Agency Member's Only Servise which offers more selling opportunities. I did not get anything that was promised within the email home-business offer that I received. I have sent emails which have gone unanswered and will start calling their listed phone number today!!! MY ADVICE...DO NOT ENLIST WITH THIS COMPANY FOR A HOME-BASED-BUSINESS...THEY ARE VERY DECEITFUL & DISHONEST!!!

Misrepresentation of Services
I think this company has a novel idea with a piss-poor delivery. I vibed with what they were saying all along and even listed a few items. The problem I faced was with their partner DOBA. The company which is at doba . com lists all the items and it was pretty simple to get it on ebay. The issue: Doba is not a wholesaller. They price you way out of the market because of the item cost, shipping and handling, and drop ship fee. everyone on eBay is selling the same items but at much lower prices. Their is no profit to be made from it. And to add insult to injury, doba charges 40.00 a month to use the service. So I think this agency is a rip off in that it doesn't clearly spell out what you are paying for with you 60-200 dollar investment and their "wholesale" partner isn't really a wholesaller at all. No profit to be made.

CALL:
866-219-2080 to cancel and request refund before end of 60 days. And I recommend calling every 10 days until you have the refund. I will be calling them tomorrow and I know it is a valid number because I spoke with them several times on Saturday 09.25.2010. i believe the hours of operation are 8-7 ESt M-F. Also open on Saturday until 5pm EST.

To cancel Doba call 877-321-3622. But to be honest, there are other reports that state that once they have your card, free trial or not, they still charge you. So I plan on changing my card number as well. 7-7pm MST is Doba hours of operation.

Scam
I, too, have been taken by this company. Before it asks for your money it represents to you that this job opportunity will be entering information online for other companies to sell that company's products. After you pay, you are required to take a ten day course in learning how to set up an E-bay store and sell your own items. The course material explains what type of products you need to find to auction and the ebay rules.

On the first day I completed five of the ten courses and attempted the following day to get on their website to determine how to be refunded my money (as they had promised), and my password is no longer valid. When I request a new password, I receive a broken link message. I did not even receive a receipt for the money I had spent on the "course".

I do not how to proceed. I would like to be refunded the money I paid for the training, as I could find out just as easily how to sell items by reading the Ebay help files. They have mislead me, and countless others.

Any assistance that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully submitted,

Fee Refundable, but cannont access company
I signed up yesterday, September 11th, 2010, to take a course offered by The Auction Listing Employment Agency. I paid $49.95 plus $9.95 shipping and handling refundable within 60 days.

After going through the first lesson, I realized that their program was not one I was interested in so went online to request my refund. I received the login box, but since they had never requested a password originally, I could not complete the login process. I tried the "forgot your password" option, but when hit enter, I received a non recognition message from Fire Fox. I tried several different ways to get into the website but to no avail.

All I want is to get my $49.95 returned as promised in the original offer.

Thank you,

Donald C. McCobb

misleading e-mail
I purchased what I thought was a course that would train me to become an aution listing agent on e-bay. Then I got a high pressure phone call, wanting to get my fiance on the line, I told man on phone I was thinking that I was going to be listing products for Furtune 500 companies on e-bay, and all I was getting was how to sell on e-bay. I was suppose to get paid $5 for each item I listed. Wrong!!! Now I am trying to get my money back. What a joke, this makes me not want to try any work at home computer business!!

Scam
I paid $206.95 for a work at home program. They provided to me a pass word which does not work and nobody answers their phone.
After further investigations, I found other people they have scammed. I have 60 days money back as a guarantee. I need my money charged back to my account.

Scam
This is a scam! I couldn't believe that I got sucked into this! I quit my job believing I would make better money and not have to worry but I guess it was too good to be true! I can't believe this! I was told in the very beginning and after paying $70 that I would be making $5 for every item I posted! I did not know that I would be paying for posting the item and only getting money if the item sells! Elizabeth, the owner, or creator is a scammer! I can't believe this..I wish that all scammers would be locked up or something!!!

Customer Service
I bought a product from this company that was teaching me how to make money by selling things on ebay. It wasn't what I expected but I wasn't upset until I was contacted by someone wanting to see if I qualified for an advanced team where I would be coached by a professional. They wanted an upfront investment of $4370 to get started with my online business right away. When I told them I needed to talk to some people before I committed to that kind of money the man I talked to practically exploded. He said he "should have been talking to people who make decisions for me since you obviously can't do it." He kept threatening to fire the first person I talked to because she didn't tell me that I would have to commit that money during the phone call. He finished the conversation by insulting my intelligence and character and thanking me for wasting his time while he slammed down the phone. I don't think it's too much to expect to be able to think about it before investing over 4 grand.
