I don't understand why our government is not paying more attention to how Aurora is operating their modification process. How can we as a country recover from the worse real estate crash perhaps in history, if we keep on foreclosing on folks that want to pay something to stay in their home. Why are the people of the United States of America not being helped by the Loan companies and our govenment? Aurora is one of the worst companies out there. They have run my senior citizen Mom around like a moron. Every time she sends in paper work by fax or email they ask her for the same papers later. They tell her they don't have what she sent 3 weeks ago. She has been run ragged trying to work out a modification. Her home is over 50% under water. She put her life savings into the renovation. There are over 6 bank owned homes right next to her that have been stripped of kitchens, washers dryers, landscaping, shutters, hardware, pool equipment any thing of value has been removed.
Aurora, sent her trial periods to pay which were higher then her current stupid morgage that some shark got her to sign up for to finish her bathrooms. She paid what they asked skipping out on needed meds, food, entertainment etc to meet their pre modification package requirments. Aurora promised her in writting, pay this and in 6 months you will be eligable for a good modification. After the 6 month period of payments--- Tada!!! drum roll!!! It was all BS they were just collecting their interest on the loan in advance, giving hope to a Senior that loves her home. Now they of course need more paper work, over and over again. She could have lived at the Ritz Carlton for what she just paid to be considered for a modification. the horrible part is that she said look forget the modification just take my down from 71/2% to 3 or 4 percent I can handle that .
She has been working on her modification since end of 2008. One woman she talked to about her budget at Aurora told her she ate to much food.
As a tax payer where is our Government to hammer through this with these Loan organizations. Where the hell are they . If Obama would pay attention to this perhaps his other programs would work and he would have a better rating. I think they should have given every American legally register a million dollars that would have stopped the train and stimulated our economy. Sorry lost focus!
Obama Loan programs are not working for the majority of our citizens.
Aurora Loan Service amonst others are pulling our nation down. I don't know why we allow it. There are to many complaints jokes, cartoons talking about the run around' of the Aurora process.' The sad situation is that people that can pay something to keep their homes are being abused, kicked out and foreclosed on. We know folks have lost jobs and lots value in their homes, the real estate bubble burst. So we let these companies attack us when we are down. Aurora is abusing their clients that are asking for modifications. If your home is underwater why keep paying the full morgage. why Hey Aurora will kick us out anyway and take the deduction, so we will pay for it anyway, one way or another we will pay. Aurora will let some other investor buy the property for pennies on the dollar over the internet. Or if the house is decent in a top area the loan company's institution might buy it back themselfs for penny's on the dollar under another name and make repairs and then rent it out or sell it.
I have read some of the complaints on this complaint board and felt so compelled to write some thing. Oh I forgot to mention all the legal fees my Mom has paid to try and stay in her home. I have personally witnessed the abuse. I have asked my Mother to move in with me and my family. However she is determined to take a stand. She just wont give up.
I wish I was connected to a Senator or billionair that would take on this campain. Or some Super hero that would provide us with so type of Justice. If the houses are all underwater let there be modifications for all. Give 40, 50, 60 year loans at low interest rates thanks to the Federal Researve. If the house recaptures some of its worth when sold have the contract stipulate the bank can get some of there money back in a fair split percentage.
Banks are lucky we are maintaining our underwater properties and trying to work something out. If we all walked away at once that would open some eyes. Perhaps there can be a national get out of your underwater home day. A real walk out where everyone stops paying.
Perhaps the American dream is dead thanks to institutions that will not participate in what is ordered.
Its the most artifical manipulation. If I review all the fee's my poor senior Mother has paid this company the abuse she has taken. Yes I will sue Aurora. so if Aurora is reading any of this here is another citizen that is going to sue your organization.
