LOAN MODIFICATION
We purchase a house in 2006 and in 2008 we apply for the loan modification program, they had us on trial pmts for 3 to 4 months and they did this 3 times...they are still unable to help us...i received a letter 3 wks ago stating that we dont qualify for the MAKING HOME AFFORDABLE program because of exessive forbearance that they will see if they can qualify us for the traditional modification (inhouse program) they had me like this for the past 2 yrs now i have not been making the pmts for the mortgage for about 1 yr now...quite honestly they do not care for their customers they are greedy. Everytime i ask whos the private investor they cant provide me with such simple information, when i asked whos the CEO to write a complaint letter same ans. cant provide that info is private, when i asked whos the executors name i mean this people are trained so dumb that they think that we customers cant get information online...Im ready to write letters to the governor, senator, congressman, and evern the president...!
Today I called Aurora to check stat on my mod and i was told that they are requesting new docs...i mean who are they kidding!! Please we all need to get together do something go to a news channel or something public...! Im not giving up thats for sure!

Home Modification
I contacted Aurora at the end of 2009 when my mortgage payment was going up by @300 dollars. At the time my husband was out of work and had lost his business. I was told that they couldn't not help me until my payments where past due. I waited a couple of months and stated I needed some help, that at the current time could not afford the payment increase. I then went into a forebearance agreement which was to go through July 2010. During that time I sent document after document paid my forebearance payments on time and did what was asked of me. At the end of the contract, Aurora stated my loan was still in review and to continue to pay my forebearance payments. I called periodically to check on my workout status only to find out my loan was still under review. I occasionally got letters stating that Aurora needed information which was already sent to them previously but sent it anyway. It has been 14months since I started this process and just found out that I was denied a HAMP because my gross income is more than 31% of my 1st mortgage, insurance and homeowners dues, etc. Now, this is based on a simple math problem that takes only a moment to calculate, meanwhile my past due payment are accumulating. Now I am told I am approved for a tradional home modification for an amount that is greater than my payment was before I started this whole process over 14months ago! This to me is insane and should be illegal! I have gotten conflicting information from every representative I talk to at Aurora. I need advice on what to do. Does anyone know at this point whom I turn to? Thank you for reading.

Liars, thieves
I too have been screwed by Aurora, I started dealing with them in 2008, BEFORE I had any late payments, after following the forbearance procedure, which is make the payment amount that they give you for 3 months and then you are supposed to have a "MODIFICATION", which lasted 1 year at the higher payments, I was told I did not send in the correct paper work, I told them I have all Fed x slips that the paperwork was received and who signed for it, I was told that there was NO PROOF that I had sent anything in the Fed X envelope. I was mortified that this is how they handle business. Aurora just runs you in circles until you GIVE UP. I hope that SOMEHOW we can SUE them, this is crazy, where is our government NOW that we need them to step up and deal with the ongoing disaster that is happening to ANYONE who has to deal with this incompetent company !!!

Cr*p company
Well I see I am not the only person that thinks Aurora Loan bank is crap. I have been, with the aid of a short sale specialist, trying to short sale two properties in Georgia. The customer service is crap their phone people are less than helpful and even when the paperwork is produced there is not a sole able to review it or make a decision. PLUS the attorneys Aurora uses get paid so much per foreclosure so guess what folks they have no incentive to try and work things out. I also own another property in California with Aurora, (not by choice they bought my loan)and guess what if things get worse that's the first thing I am going to do dump it. I will not bother to short sale because I now know the corrupt system aurora uses, I have sent letter to the State requesting that that bank no longer is able to do business here in California as they are so corrupt. I also am informing everyone I know all over the united states (I am part of a huge animal rescue) not to use this bank as they are fraudulently offering short sales and then do nothing to help it's all about insurance for their investors why short sale when insurance will pay for losses. they are rude ignorant of the system and have ulterior motives. I had a cash buyer for two properties and couldnt get to first base using an experienced short sale representative from REMAX.I originally tried to consolidate the two loans (first and second)and was told $15000 plus costs, who in the *** has that kind of money to get rid of a 2nd. Do yourself a favor stay far away from this bank. I now have a forclosure on my record and my wish for them is to have everyone read this and dump them. There were 8 nurses that bought in this tract in Goerga and they all are in trouble my advise to them has been just walk away do not try to short sale Aurora doesn't give a dam.

I do NOT trust
My mortgage was bought by Aurora Loan Services from Sovereign Bank a few months ago. I pay my monthly mortgage online at the company's website. My mortgage is paid on the day due, since that is the day I am paid, and is directly debited from my bank account. However, Aurora has sent me a statement showing me as two months late. When I finally got a human being in the Customer Service department, the representative claimed that my payments were made after the cutoff time for the day, 7:00p.m. Mountain time, which means that I would be making my payments after 9:00p.m. my time. I certainly do not pay bills in the late evening! So far, the company hasn't tried to report me to the credit rating agencies for making late payments, but I do NOT trust Aurora!

Loan Modification
We have tried repeatedly to work with Aurora Loan Services but they are more interested in foreclosures, bankruptcy, and short sales. We are trying to keep our home but they just will not work with anyone. We were recently in the UPS Program but when I sent the documentation in they wanted they waited months and then told me I sent the wrong documentation, hey a phone call, letter? We then were told to come up with $9800 now or face foreclosure proceedings. Really? We are unemployed and just started Social Security, if I had $9800 laying around I would not have applied for a modification or the ups program. This company needs to be investetigated fully. They also need better communication among their agents, no one ever seems to know what the other department is doing. Watch out do not get involved with AURORA LOAN SERVICES. I am also going to E-Mail Obama about the company and see if he has people who will look into it.

Gave me all my X's personal info knowing I wasnt on his loans
Aurora gave me ALL my X husbands information; they called asked for him I said not the right person - then began telling me all his personal and private information…. I am not on ANY of his loans … Amazing ethics they don’t have! And "I" told them wrong person. I love it when major companies chose not to follow the ethics code and throw confidentiality out the window. I believe they were a part of of Leamon Brothers?

Fraudulent
For 3 years now we have done EVERYTHING that Aurora has asked for in order to get a loan modification. We've kept perfect notes, days, dates and whome we've spoken to.

They even advised us to go late 3 months before they would really take us seriously. Being we are NEVER late on any payments we were apprehensive. But after a few days took there advice. They then threatend forclosure. So we immediately caught up. Now there threatening forclure due to we owe them 14, 222. dollars in late fees If not paid in 30 days. This company is a bunch of lies and cheats...How can they get away with this??
