There are 88 fake, duplicate positive reviews written in blocks of 10 and 20 all on the same day that follow real customer complaints that "disappear", Its not just here its insider pages & Yahoo reviews and a few other smaller sites.

There are 8 negative reviews - mostly pointing out the above.

If you don't understand this statement then go to Austins and get the crap ripped out of you because your even dumber than they are.

Here's what will happen. The owner, Matt Austin will take your trade in and finance you. When you have nearly paid it off and / or fixed it up, he'll 86 you from the property, or tell you its ok to pay late verbally, or tell you he can't take your payment because the card machine's not working today etc etc

Then he will repo your car and lie about it, threaten you and re-sell your car illegally. Sometimes cars are sold three and four times.

Even if you pay cash, they frequently pull the fuse on the engine warning light, air bag light or put very little fuel in the cars so the "test drive" is very short, make up excuses not to go on the freeway. Small time dealerships like Austins Affordable Autos get the left overs at auctions that the big dealers didn't want. Thiese cars come from a pool of unwanted cars people traded in because they were sh*t, and he ends up with the left over sh*t the other dealers didn't want and trys to cover up the defects, inflate the price and sell it. To YOU.

Its a huge risk buying a car like that and the horror stories keep mounting and getting deleted.

This is what the deleted reviews are about and this is why I'm warning you all. They are bad people with evil in their hearts and the type of ex-cons you feel uneasy around. The fat guy with skinny legs is Matt Austin. Fortunately he's almost broke so we won't have to put up with the scum anymore. If I can save just one person by writing this it was worth it.

Its unclear if the violence was directed at the owner Matthew Austin, of 9331 OLD SKYLINE BLVD PORTLAND, OR 97231 Ph 503 515 2835 - as similar acts had occurred twice before. Its just as well because sources say one more such act would have his lot dropped from insurance and he'd have to close down. There have been no reported repeat acts since the owners recent term in prison for 3.5 years. Matthew Austin is out of prison now but acting as manager with a relatively brief stint of 23 days back in Jail for Parole violations.

Such acts are to be condemned by the community no matter how frustrated at being ripped off by a team of ex-cons lead by an old obese ex con they feel. If you've had your car repossessed unfairly, vandalized or feel you've been scammed take the many recent responsible examples of those who have picketed the business, distributed flyers, told of their experience via word of mouth and the internet. The attorney general's office is yet another example of mounting complaints against them. Customers who have involved the police numerous times on the spot have also enjoyed immediate positive results.

You might think it would feel good but what ever you do, don't do what these guys have done multiple times at 2am in the morning - you might end up in jail or prison like Matt Austin.

If breaking 37 windows at a Hazel Dell used-car lot was a thoughtless act, Henry Barber wants to make whoever did it think. Barber, sales manager at Austin's Affordable Autos, announced a $100 reward Friday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the vandals.
When Barber arrived at work Friday, he found 22 cars with a total of 37 windows shattered. Some of the cars had blood smeared on them.
He also found a hammer at the lot, at 9316 N.E. Highway 99.
Surveillance video showed a car with two people at the lot around 2 a.m. Friday, but the video quality was poor.
Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the car lot at around 9 a.m. Friday. They collected samples of blood and sent them in for testing.
It will take months before the sheriff's office gets the laboratory results back, said Sgt. Dennis Pritchard. There are no suspects, he said.
Barber said he has no idea who would want to target Austin's. He's discovered a smashed windshield from time to time, but nothing on this scale.
"I think it's just vandalism, " Barber said. He estimated the damage at more than $10, 000

Thiis is how I was treated at Austins Affordable Autos by Matt or Matthew Austin – claims to be the owner.

Yes I was very upset about the things that were wrong with my vehicle, and felt I was taken advantage of. So because of this you have now told your employees to not accept late payments at all and the vehicle will be repoed. I have read all of the reviews. The van is now broke down again. Yu say that you are honest, then I feel that you would do something, like let us look at another car that we are interested in, with the same payments. And we have now noticed that the underneat has ties holding it up, and that it has been in an accident, and we were never told this. If you are an honest person then what are you going to do about this vehicle? I now have another payment comming up and a van that is broke down. I want to believe that you are honest and value your customers. And yes I do have all of the paper work from lesschwab of all the work that was done, that I am now making monthly payments for. As for my paying my bills on time you had no idea what my situation was and why. If you are as honest as you say then you are going to make this right…..

……I tried to call yesterday to Austin affordable autos, and asked to talk to Matt Austin, and a guy got on the phone and said this is Matt when he found out who I was he told me his attorney advised him not to talk to me or help me and that they would be taking me to court over a bad review that I gave him, and because I contacted the Attorney general and filed a complaint. He also told me that I am tresspassed from their property, so someone else will be making my car payment. I have papers from lesschwab for all of the work on my account that I now have to make payments on, and now from another shop because the back heating core was shot. I have statements from all of them including the tow truck driver, that noticed the front fender is partially tucked under and held up with zip ties. The tow truck driver thinks the car had been in an accident, and if this is true we were never told. So I will have all of the paper work from everyone that has looked at and had to work on the vehicle. There is a thing called freedom of speech and we all have that right. There is also a bolt that is not the right one for the front end fender, and the whole thing comes out. I think we all need to stick together and fight him.

I highly recommend you drive by and put the pedal to the medal! What turned out as an above average visit of a used car dealership ended with us being verbally abused by a less-than professional dealership manager.

We went in search of a used 7-series BMW for my husband. We have been looking for a couple of weeks and have yet to find the one that has the price and condition we are looking for. Austin's Affordable Autos had a listing on http://Craigslist.com for such a vehicle.

We met with a friendly used car salesman who showed us two vehicles and my husband test drove the one he liked the most. We let the salesman know we were looking around the area (Portland, OR) for the right care. Upon the return from the test drive we were informed by the salesman who just leaned from the manager that this car already had a deposit on it.

As we were not ready to spring that moment to buy the vehicle the salesman told us if we give him our info he would contact us if they found another one. We walked inside to fill out the forms when the manager let us know that although there was a deposit on the vehicle he would pawn those people off on another vehicle and let us have this one.

We were discussing our options when the managed exploded and said, "Oh, I thought you were here to buy a car, not just to play around!" We were utterly shocked by his outburst and finished filling out our info for the salesman. I offered that if the person with the deposit did not come through that he should call us. The rabid manager again yelled at us saying, "Its SOLD! You cannot have it!"

At this point we collected our small children, the salesman who was helpful didn't even tell us goodbye and we headed back to our car.

Do yourself a favor. Take your money elsewhere. If they treat you like this when you have cash in hand to buy a vehicle, just imagine if you wanted to look around and not purchase the first car you touch!
