Rude
RUDE RUDE RUDE I called about a car on craigslist and the guy didn't want to send me pictures. He said I was a dumb women because I wanted pictures and didn't just believe him. Then he hung up on me. He was very rude. Don't do business with this company.

Repo Recycle
NEVER AGAIN! Um they sold us the crappiest car ever and some how rigged it so that it worked fine until we got it home. It immedietly broke down and when I called there to tell them the horribly rude secretary informed me that I was basically out of luck and that they only sell things as is... then come to find out the car they sold was in the middle of being reposessed and they never said a word to us about it. I have also posted adds on craigslist about this place it is terrible they are a bunch of con artist!

Burnt by the test drive
went there when i was car shopping and the very first car i test drive didn't even make it out of the parking lot. Don't waist your money here. Cars a cheap but there is something wrong with each and every one of them. If your going to buy a car take it on the highway and drive for a good 15-20 minutes. Do not do a 5 minute car test ride. Drive that thing and only buy it if you want it 100%. Once your have it your stuck with it! Please Please make sure you test drive it for more than 5-10 minutes (no matter what they say). Be sure to take it on the free way to get the best quality! If it drives well, and you really love it and don't think your find anything else. Then go for it. Be sure to remember even though you have about 60% says dont go and don't get, there is still a small chance that you get what you really really want, and another small chance that it will be a good one and last you for what your money is worth.

Below in the girls sunglasses is the old guy to watch out for. He's about 55-60, greying and fat like in the fat pic below with skinny legs.

High Pressure Lemon Lot
When I first came to the lot I made it clear that i needed help because my car was stolen the day before and i needed something to get me to and from work. The salesman that barely spoke English tried getting me into this Ford Explorer that they had to jump start to get running and then it kept dying and would not idle the way it should. I then told them that I did not want an Explorer because i've owned one before and had nothing but bad experiences with it. I even checked the oil and it looked milky which tells me that it had a blown head gasket. They still tried selling it to me and would not let up. Finally I test drove this 4-runner, it drove off the lot just fine and i liked it for the price. I was driving home from work 2 days later and threw a rod through the block, the engine started smoking and i had to pay to tow it home. I now have a repo on my credit to say the least. I would not reccomend these guys to anyone. They are the definition of a high pressure lemon lot.

This is the guy - he has the ladies sun glasses on. He looks like the other guy in the fat pic, but older and is going grey. I think he's about 58. I also know he got out of prison recently - figures.

Cheap but Junk Cars - pay more get more
They promise me that I would not be driving home with a non working car?. and that is exactly what had happen. At first it drove really well on the test drive (but we couldn?t get far because it was just about out of gas and they did not want to fill it up before the test drive) but it drove good and looked go so we bought it. But after we bought it, it just so happens that it broke down not even a block away from the lot! They came and helped us out and fixed the problem (thanks for that) but then it broke down again before getting home. When I called them the next day they just kept telling me that there was nothing we can do about it and to call back tomorrow! The fat lady at the desk is no help and is very rude and to call me ignorant and selfish!!! I tried to explain that I?m not trying to be selfish but I just bought this car yesterday and I can?t even drive it! And all she had to say is to call back tomorrow!!! I took it to the shop and the supercharger went out on it and that it would be $1, 500-$2, 000 to fix (I paid $2, 700 for the car itself). Also its leaking antifreeze from the radiator and that would be $300-$500 to fix. When I called back the 2nd day and told them what happen, he told me there was nothing they can do about it, and I bought it as is. The guy who sold the car just kept saying, ?It?s good, it?s good. It drives good, good car, good car?!!! I swear that is all the he knew how to say! Let me save you guys!!! Do not buy a car from them unless you go on a good 15 minute test drive! Buy a care form the bigger lots (and the bigger used lots). They don?t try to rip you off and they really want to get read of those cars and will defiantly choose a lower rate and a better quality car for you. DO NOT GO (DO NOT TRUST) AUSTIN?S AFFORDABLE AUTOS!

Lied to about the Car
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE...We showed up at this car lot looking for something reliable to get my husband back and forth from work and picking up the kids. We went in and said we want something reliable, thats it, it doesn't have to be pretty or fancy or any of that just cheap and reliable. The guy said he had the perfect car that ran really well and was an awsome price... we bought this car only to find out that it is a big piece of @#$%. Now my kids have to ride in this unsafe car until we can afford to buy another one...so i guess you can go and buy a car here if you don't mind being taken advantage of, or being lied to, or hanging out with people that could obviously care less about you. Your safety or anything else that does not involve money does not matter to these people and if I were you I would go somewhere else. I did not listen to the negative reviews, but hopefully you will. Good luck.

Hidden Fee Scam
DO NOT SHOP HERE. We had been shopping all day for a car and saw mediocre material on the lot. After much searching we found a dodge neon which we fell in love with. We agreed to pay the advertised price, plus taxes, licences and fees that ensue with buying a car. The money had been withdrawn from the account, registered in our name, and the manager chose, after all was said and done and we asked for a minute to discuss a 3% surcharge on the credit card, to void the deal and return the money to the account without consulting us. Prior to this we offered to bring in cash the following day to avoid the surcharge and the manager said that he couldn't sell the car for that price the next day and we were told to pay the 3% charge or pay an extra thousand dollars the next day. We were not given the opportunity to pay the 3% extra, the manager simply voided the transaction without asking if we were willing to pay the extra one hundred and thirty dollars. We were treated rudely and told to leave, without the car.
Shopping here will be pleasant for you only if you're willing to pay extra hidden fees and deal with an anger challenged manager that enjoys using foul language in front of children.

Disabled Man Scam Attempt
A disabled man picked out a car he had decided to buy at this lot. The car had issues they promised to have fixed, and ready for him. I went there with him when the car was supposed to be ready. The car was not fixed. They told him he needed to give them at least $2500 and sign a contract or pay in full, before they could fix it. They were pressuring him to hand over money, and sign papers. When I asked (nicely), if they would put in writing that they would repair the car as promised. The manager came out and told me to get the "%^%#$ off the lot" (I believe he thought the salesman already had the cash)...If I had not been there I am convinced they planned to rip off that poor old disabled man.
I can't believe how rude the manager was to me. (I am a sweet. older, lady) This is a HORRIBLE place! There is no one I dislike enough to send the to Austin's! They are BAD, BAD, BAD!
