Hi I was involved in a Car accident on the 21 March 2011. Auto & General, the accident was not even my fault but had to settle the access which the Auto & Gen has agreed to recover from the 2nd Party. I was happy to pay.
This was a front smash: over a month they send me an sms, to let me know my car is ready for collection, on arrival at TC Panelbeaters, my windscreen was not fixed, my left Air-vent was bend also not fixed, my Air-con and fan of the car is still not working and my back window was broken due to the accident, the assessor advise that I leave my car and they will sort it out. on my second sms to collect my car, the following was still not done.
Aircon and Air Vents was not fixed and according to them it was old damages. They have no Logic in fixing your car. irrespective that the fault was not yours. I have taken my car to Glass fit for inspection all was working. Before we moved the vehicle out of the yard, I've noticed that the oil check plastic was also broken and had to wait for them to fix it. My fender, indicator is broken and am so frustrated to call them cause they cutting cost and makes me feel like a criminal...
The way they question, there clients is like they are interigating us. They want the client to run around, but we pay installments every month without fail.
The least they can do is contact and update the client what's happening... Cause they never do...
NOT ONE CALL FROM THEM SINCE I SUBMITTED MY CLAIM, I HAD TO FOLLOW UP, myself all the time...
I believe we should do something about this, they are ripping us off... Just so they know I'm taking legal action against them... this is not the last...
