Not giving Credit as they promised
Promised for $200 they will find a buyer for my car. If not they will refund $170. Never recieved 1 phone call on my car. When through getting form notorized to recieve my credit. Had to wait until end of 90 days before I could submit form for credit. Then they said it would take 30 days to post credit. Now almost 3 months after sending in form for credit, I keep calling to check on credit and they keep saying another week. I believe they are not ever going to give me a credit. This is a big scam. I sold my car in July and now it is Mid November and they still have my money and won't give it back. Avoid this company at all costs. I sold my vehicle on Craig's list for free. I got a lot of calls from Craig's list, not a single call from this company's site. SCAM ALERT!!

BIG SCAM!!!!
Hi my name is leslie, i have had the wost expirence with this company and is like also like a bad dream, everyday i wake up so mad at this situation and i vow to push this as high as this can go and my aim is to sink these people by speading the truth to the public so that nonone else is subjected to this scam...
I posted my add for my infiniti cause i was stressed and wanted to just start over in life and i was willing to sell my car so that i can speand more time with my family. Winter was on its way in and i desided to post an ad on the auto trader website by posting this ad i recieve couple emails from people and in a 3 day span constant i had been recieving repeated calls from an unknown number being i was at work i never got the call well now to think of it one time i did pick up and i was saying hello hello and none replied but they never hung up. Anyway i checked my messages and the message went something like this ... " hi my name is BRAD i have been trying to contact you but was alway unable to catch you so i desided to leave a message you can call me at 1866-..." (what ever the number was).. ok being cruious i was like ok i am a give the number a call and see what its about.. so i called and i got a rep and i asked to speak to brad she stated brad was on a call and she can assist me so i spoke to her ( talking to these people have you feel so uneasy i should have went with my gut) i asked alot of questions because i dont just give my card to anyone so she told me about a package that you dont get a refund on and then she told me about the refund one leaving out that you had had to get a notorized receipt but she did say that if you stay the 90 days with the ad that you a have a refund and they keep the 29 for processing fees. I also asked her if well i sell my car before the 90 days if i can have my money back and she stated that yes they will refund me right away ( because we all well know if she stated that i had to still wait 90 days and they aint doing nothing for me why would i have them hold my money ) anyway she said yes you will have the money refunded right away( which was a HUGE LIE!!!), ok i went away for the weekend cause i did this friday and on the tuesday i called back to cancel she then told me that i have to fill out this form and send it back in and i have to wait 90 days to do so...I asked why do i have to wait that time when the ad is cancelled and you all are not doing anything for me further more my car is nolonger for sale i told her i want conformation of the cancellation and she sent me to personal email i was like what is this? this is a personal email i want a company letter head stating that i was cancelling she refused to send me that and instead sent me an emial of the terms and conditions.. this have been exactally a week and since i started with them and i have not gotten the reciept in the mail or anything, when you call in they all excited and bubbly when she pulled up my account she got all angry, bitter, unprofessional so i allowed her to speak to her self and the dial tone... AMERICA AND CANADA ALERT!!! DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE ...TOTAL SCAM!!!

False Advertising, Don't Do What They Say
They advertsie that they buy lists of potential buyers who are interested in your specific vehicle and that they will send buyers to you. This is false. All they do is put your vehicle on some obcsure website and thats it. I did that on my own at AutoTrader.com for $25 and sold the car myself. Then I did EXACTLY what they said to get my refund, sent it in the correct time frame, notorized, etc and it has now been 2 1/2 months and I have not gotten my refund. Every time I call (and I have called at least five times) they tell me that my refund is being processed and I will get it in a few days. Don't trust these people. They are either incredibly INEPT or total LIARS.

Not doing what they said
I want to direct this complaint to Mr. Paul Russell.<br />

I noticed his name several times while reading about AMS and scams/complaints. It seems that he tries<br />
to respond to complaints and/or inquiries.<br />
<br />
AMS called me and said they could help me sell my vehicle. Brad called me. I worked with Amanda in placing my ad. <br />
<br />
I am selling a brand new car (for $7, 000 less than it cost). This may be somewhat unusual, but I am selling the brand new car because I own it outright and I have another car that I also like.<br />
<br />
AMS is very attentive while they are trying to convince you to advertise with them. Once you place the ad, <br />
you don't hear from them.<br />
<br />
I was told my ad has received 244 "hits" since being placed on August 22nd.<br />
<br />
Since August 23rd, there have been no leads on the ad. AMS told me that this morning. First I was working<br />
with Kelly, but we were cut off, then another woman.<br />
<br />
On the promotional tape you listen to while you are waiting to speak to a representative, it says, "We find buyers for you, so you don't have to wait for buyers".<br />
<br />
Thus far, I have not received a single call. I was told this morning that AMS advertises 30, 000 vehicles with<br />
the implication being " how could we possibly keep track of your ad?"<br />
<br />

SCAM
They promise to sell your car for 199.00, and if they do not or you sell your own car you have to wait 90 days have papers notarized ??? Then you might get paid...Stay Away!!!

Scam
We were contacted by Melanie, who said she was from a company that matched buyers of used cars to sellers for $199.00. My husband specifically asked the question--"What if we sell the car through another means?" (We had advertised through the newspaper.) She said that we would get all our money back minus $29, and said nothing about a 90 day waiting policy before getting our money back. We sold the car 3 days after the posting and called the company immediately, who then told us about the 90 day policy and refused to give us a refund. In order to get a refund we have to get the request notarized. We disputed this with our credit card company and have reported them to the BBB. Please do not use this service!
