I ordered a part for my car on the 23rd of May and the person I talked to guaranteed my part was in stock and I would receive the part by this weekend. I ordered two parts through them but only received one when the shipment came in...of course not the part that was most important. I called customer services and was told two conflicting excuses to why they didn't send it. My email from them, which I didn't receive until late Friday the 29th, stated it was because it was out of stock even though the website has had it in stock all week. The customer service manager, Jared...employee #897 stated it was either because it was not in stock or a faulty part but couldn't clarify.
When I asked them to ship a different manufactured product that would work and expedite the shipping for free he stated they "couldn't" because it was listed as a part that can only be shipped by ground. Upon further questioning, he changed his story saying they "could ship it overnight" but the cost would be $49.95 and he had no ability to change the cost or provide free overnight shipping. I quickly did a google search for the part and immediately found a part listed for $5 less then they had which guaranteed lowest price...AND the overnight freight was only $24.95. I told Jared this and he stated the price he saw online was $15 more and would not match the guaranteed lowest price or shipping price from CarGeeks. I ordered the part from CarGeeks instead and told Jared I would file complaints.
