Crummy rental company
First of all, service is horrible. Office is a dirty hole in the wall. I had to switch cars 3 times because each car had a different problem(s). Still wasn't satisfied with final car, (smelled like a cat pissed on every square inch of the car) but was tired of being at the office so long on my vacation so bought some febreeze and an air freshener and dealt with it. Got pulled over in the car (i know, all my fault), BUT, found out by the officer that the registration was expired and not even registered to the company (Auto Rent in San Diego) .. was registered to a collision company in Florida... nice. After having problems with the officer about registration and wasting an hour of another day, I of course complained to the company, and they thought nothing of it... explained that the registration was not expired... they just maybe forgot to put the new tags on it..? Complete bullsh*t. And to top it all off, checked my bank account today and they charged me an extra $14. (know, not that much but still...) Mind you, this is one month after I rented the car. I of course, called the company... argued with the guy about the charge for 25 minutes... he says the charge is not for any extra damages or anything, simply just for renting the car. argued about why i wasn't charged this along with the other $200 when i first rented the car, and he claims it was the computers mistake. He refused to accommodate me in any way, for $14, its obvious they don't care about their customers. I will be disputing the charge. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
