Stay away

Typical dealer overpricing when needing service on vehicle without warranty.

But, they are worse than others. DO NOT TAKE AN OLDER VEHICLE TO A DEALER FOR REPAIRS. THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST! TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY WHEN IN NEED OF REPAIRS TO OLDER (MORE THAN 5 YEARS) FORD CARS OR TRUCKS. This goes ditto to IRA TOYOTA MANCHESTER NH. TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! STAY AWAY FROM DEALERS FOR REPAIRS OF ANY KIND. EXPECT TO PAY AT LEAST TWICE WHAT IT WOULD FROM A PRIVATE GARAGE!!! YOU'RE PAYING DOUBLE FOR THE PART, YOUR PAYING THE SERVICE TECH'S WAGE AND OVER THAT, YOUR PAYING THE DEALERS' PROFIT ABOVE ALL ELSE. TAY AWAY FROM DEALERS FOR REPAIRS !!!

Price at sale not price at closing

My husband and I purchased a new vehicle last saturday. It was a 2007
Ford Edge with monthly payments of $349. When we returned home on Sat.
we thought the payments were too high for us since we live on a fixed
income. When the sales person quoted us a price it was $325. Then we met with the finaace person and had Gap insurance, warranty, maintenance presented as if we had to purchase these things. Now the price went to $349. My husband spoke to a sales manager today and they refuse to have us return the vehicle which we have not even driven. We found a much better deal at a CHrysler dealer in Concord. A 2008 Ford Edge loaded of $320 ...bottom line. Do we have any recourse?
