Autopage cellular woke me up at 07h08 this morning
Autopage cellular woke me up at 07h08 this morning, 8 March. Lele called to try sell me something. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and Nandi came on. I informed her that not only was Autopage marketing to me illegally (having told them to stop calling me THREE TIMES and remove my name from their marketing lists), they were also calling me at 7am in the morning, and can I please speak to her manager so I can find out why this is happening. So she hung up.

I will not renew my contract with Autopage again
Tomorrow it will be a week since I reported my sad story of bad service from Autopage Repair Services... And guess what.. Nothing happened as yet!!! I still do not have a phone or an acceptable answer. I did receive a reply that the repair centre will be in contact with me soon and wondered how soon will be soon???? It is unacceptable to pay for a service and not receive it. I was reading through all the complaints people have with Autopage, and honestly, I will not renew my contract with Autopage again. Hope everybody that is unhappy about bad service will do the same.

Two months to do conversion - disgusting service
On 30122009 I visited Altech Autopage in Canal Walk. I requested that my sim gets RICA'd and that my cellphone contract be transferred from Casual Chat 100 to Control Chat 200. Both request were done by Bulani, at Canal Walk branch on 30122009. Bulani told me that Cell C would do the conversion by about the 26th January 2010, so I should be on Control Chat from 1 February 2010. After noticing in the first week in February that the conversion was not done, I waited another week, and contacted Altech Autopage Call Centre on 13022010 and spoke to Kwoti, who confirmed that the request was received but would only be effective 15022010, which was contrary to what I was told at Canal Walk branch. On 26022010, I once again contacted Altech Autopage Call Centre and spoke to Teboga, who said that the transfer was effective, but not activated and that she would log it wih the Network department. She also said that the conversion would be activated by 1 March or 1 April 2010, which is completely unacceptable. Teboga has not contacted me to give me feedback. I think the service is pathetic.

Autopage service once again proves to be pathetic
I was erroneously charged an admin fee on my 3G account.On 15 Feb I called Client Services, spoke to Busi Muasa who confirmed that this was an error and that she would get the Upgrades Dept. to reverse the charge.She confirmed that the credit would reflect on my next statement.Do you think any of Busi’s promises were actually fulfilled?No! I called the call centre again this morning & had to wait for over 15 minutes before anyone picked up the phone.This call centre is worse than the City of Jo’burg or Home Affairs!Needless to say eventually I got through to Tebogo Mashaba.She said she could not help me & she has no feedback for me & I would have to wait till Busi gets in at 2pm to find out. I asked to speak to a manager, she said none are available. What kind of call centre has no managers available on a Mon morning – Please! Then she offered to transfer my call to a Retentions Manager – when I asked the Mgr’s name she couldn’t tell me. How was she going to transfer me to a person she doesn’t know? She couldn't give me any answers. I couldn't speak to anyone who was better informed, nothing has been done with my query in the 2 weeks since I logged it.These people are unbelievable!

Don't take a account from these clowns
They have done it AGAIN. Today 28022010 when I tried to make a phoen call I found out my account is again cancelled. Why? The debit order for the account is to go off tomorrow 01032010. DON'T take a account from these clowns. I want to terminate my account as of now!!!

Threatening sms's every month
For the past year or more, I receive numerous sms's from Autopage warning me that if I don't make payment they will suspend my line. Every month I call the call centre - who pass me onto the accounts department and they kindly say that it's a system problem and I must ignore the sms's. Nonsense!!! Fix the system problem!!!
I have an arrangement to pay my account at the end of the month - like I would normally pay all my accounts. Who pays accounts on the 15th of the month?!! This is what they're expecting me to do. And every month the accounts departmentcall centre appologise and say that they've made the note on the system and they are happy with the arrangement to pay by the end of the month.
I honestly do not know who else to speak to! I have tried going up the ranks in the call centre, but this also seems to get me nowhere.
Ironically, yesterday I received an sms inviting me for an upgrade. Ha ha ... that is not happening! I'm holding out until my contract is complete and moving onto greener pastures.
Sorry autopage - I have been your customer since cellphones came into this country - more than 15 years!

Failing to get my phone from Autopage
I sent my phone for repairs at Autopage in october 2009. Up to now I have gone there several times and still they give me mixed responses about the status. They claim that phone repairs take 3 weeks but for me this has turned out to be more than 4 months. This is not proffesional. Everytime I phone they only promise to phone me back and I phoned more than 10 times and they just say they will check on the phone and phone back to tell me about the phone status. After failing to get the answers over the phone there I have gone there physically more than 10 times and they say that I must go back and they phone me when the phone is ready. Now Iam so frustrated because I feel this is not proffesional. What happened to the customer policy? What do I do to get service?

Auto page is billing me for IB without my authorization
Auto page is billing me for IB without my authorization. They are quick to charge me yet have failed 2 send me my Ib statement. Customers should be given a choice when it comes to Ib. Dont just assume we want it activated. Fyi Im not even using the sim card. Its 2010 get with the progrgme.

worst service ever
The worst staff i ever came across, uneducated guys that scrape through life. I was amazed on the stupidy and the communication barrier between staff, they do not even have each others contact details. This is by far the worst service i ever received, and yet i'm still waiting for my Blackberry 9300. If the CEO or MD of autopage can atleast take time to see all the complaints then please get new educated staff that knows his/her job.

Billing surprise on internet useage
I have an internet line contract through Autopage. Although my account is paid every month, I received a huge bill of R3 064.59 at the beginning of January 2010. Although my previous bills covered September, October and November 2009, I was billed again from1 September 2009. The explanation that I got from Nomasondo at Autopage's accounts section is plain that this is the internet that was used and that it was billing that they received from MTN.

This just sounds like something terrible went wrong with the billing and I must just cough up. My internet cap is supposed to be 1 Gig, but this means that I must have been on the internet without taking a break.

My contract with Autopage expires on 28 February 2010 and I will not do business with them again.
