paid but goods
Have paid upfront for AVG 8.5 we were sent download line on which to hit, luckerly we had an antivirus program loaded, a free AVG in fact this gave us waring that it was a phishing site. They had asked us to of load any antivirus we had, good job we did not.
We have of course cancelled the card with which we paid £22, by doing that we lose the right to redress, it is great to find this site, at least it is a comfort to know someone is trying to get back at them.

Anti-Virus
AVG downloads were incomplete about two days out of a week. On one occasion, missed a worm that another company had diagnosed. Took too long to run a scan. Non-cooperative and refused a refund immediately after last payment. Never again.

charged twice
My husband tried to purchase AVG protection over the internet and it would not except his card. He then went to office max and purchased the AVG cd and installed it. I have a charge on my bank account in the amount of $68.72 for AVG. So I don't understand if he purchased the cd and installed it why was our bank account charged again for the same install. Please advise...

no record of purchase
I was on AVG's homepage and went to purchase their antivirus protection the full version and somehow, I was redirected to mbcontact for my information to purchase this product. Now AVG claims that I never purchased their product. I am so frustrated and disappointed in both companies.
I am requesting a full refund and going elsewhere for my virus protection.

Never received AntiVirus Protection
I purchased, through Pay Pal, a 3 Year VIP Membership for Anti virus protection and never received the download in December
from Advance Telecom.

false advertising
Wanted to purchase AVG antivirus software online.The site listed the product for $34.When you get to the order form it tacks on an extra $10.95 increase for a cd.This is a 30% increase on the price of the product! There is no way to "uncheck" the cd from the order form.There is no way to contact any of them about this without first purchasing to the product.If I can't trust AVG to sell me the product at the stated price, why in the world would I entrust my computer to their anti-virus product?

Did not receive AVG
I thought I paid for 3 years of AVG protection for my computer. The money was paid through Paypal and receipt has been acknowledged as paid out by Paypal. No acknowledgement has been made by advancetelecom to date. I paid $69.40 and I did not realize that I was dealing with a scam artist.
What can I do to get this money back?

will not uninstall no support
I installed the free version of AVG anti virus. Have not been able to uninstall it since. AVG does not help in any way. No support unless you buy their software. Who in their right mind would buy from people who are creating problems?
I took it to Geek Squad to have removed. They failed to do it, but did manage to sell me another anti virus that can not install until the AVG is removed.
BEWARE OF AVG!!!
