I have been using theri facility pretty much forever; when they were RiteWay too. NEVER AGAIN AT JFK!!!

Christmas morning we showed up to park. I had a PREPAID reservation. Came from CT. There was a 3 lane lineup OUTSIDE on the street. We were blocking an intersection. I jumped out in the freezing cold with snow on the ground and was told by the workers that they are no longer giving out receipts as they couldn't handle the volume of cars and the police would hassle them for leaving them on the street, triple parked and blocking traffic.

At this point we didn't know what to do. We had a plane to catch. We eventually went to Long Term Parking and we had to lug 3 suitcases by ourselves for a LONG LONG LONG walk. We are SENIOR CITIZENS and I thought I'd have a heart attack, lugging the cases in the freezing cold. Luckily we made it...barely. Luckily too we left ourselves lots of time as we thought to have a meal before the plane in the airport and to use the restrooms. As it was we just made it last boarding. Coming home again last night was traumatic for us as it was late at night and long term parking is SPOOKY. It was cold and hard to walk but at least we weren't racing for a plane. I ended up with a nasty cold from having to walk so far in the bitter cold weather.

What happened was INEXCUSABLE. I called Avistar from the airplane and spoke to Ryan who assured me of a refund...which we got. BIG DEAL! Nothing will compensate for the trauma and physical toll that took on us!!! My chest hurt for 2 days.
