AVON rep took money and ran
I ordered from an AVON rep. She had me write down my order on a piece of paper and she had 40 dollars of my money. She gave me no receipt and I paid in cash. she then said my order went over by 2dollars and some sense and needed to include tax. I did. A month later, I went looking for my order. No order placed. I went on to learn she was in cohorts with an employee I fired from home health care. I went to AVON and complained. Boy, that didn't work.

Impossible traceability
After a full year of bouncing around with customer service I am done. The thing is I actually was done several months ago but they kept me on (and charging me finance charges) and I have been attempting to return products. Some got lost (at their facility) some were sent but the box returned because the post office said the shipping info was incorrect. Now they are telling me they won't take off charges of items that items were returned but they can't tell that. I am looking for people interested in filing a class action suit. I am tired of the run about and it seems that alot of people have had the same situation. Anyone else interested?
Thanks!

Big Scam
Save yourself the heartache and sanity. You are not going to make any real money and any money you actually make ends up being spent on brochures and anything else you may need, so you actually spend more than you make. There is no check coming to you...any money ends up being paid to you in the form of credit...so you can buy more crap from them...The only one making money is AVON...and don't bother going on their community blog where reps go for advice or to share something...everyone is busy blowing hot air up everyone else's butt about how wonderful AVON is - if you dare say the opposite, your comment will be jumped on and all the butt kissing reps will tell you that its obvious you're not doing something right because they've been selling AVON and have been able to retire, buy a yacht or a mansion or whatever...

Avon-Michael Ifft

Michael Ifft Avon Representative
I received soliciting e-mails from Michael Ifft of Avon. I don't know where he got my e-mail from. I asked to be unsubscribed from mailing list. I went to the unsubscribe section and removed my e-mail. I still was sent e-mails. I continued to unsubscribe and still was sent e-mails. I sent many e-mails to Michael Iffts e-mail account, [email protected] and received a strange and harassing e-mail about men who might like to wear womens cosmetics. I sent a complaint to Avon and got no response. I unsubscribed through Avons web page and still received solicitations from Michael Ifft. I again sent an e-mail to Michael Ifft this time to Michael Ifft [email protected] and I received a strange and insulting e-mail from Michael Ifft to the effect my mother must have dropped me on my head and a number of other insulting and harassing remarks that I found to be shocking. I have put in a complaint to the Attorney Generals office and other agencies . I would never use Avon or recomment anyone use Avon and certainly not from their representative Michael Ifft. The most I could find was that he live in Boise, Idaho so I put in a complaint with the State Attorneys office and hope something is done. What a shock.

schammers
DO NOT BUY OR SELL AVON they are the biggest schammers ever.you pay double the price for products and i personally do go for quality isnt cheap and cheap isnt quality but their products are not quality they sell you cheap products in the catalogue it will look really nice than when you get it its crap cheap garbage you coulld of got at the dollar store for half the price and the dollar store has even better quality, than you will order something and you wont ever get it for 6 months they will say short ship as soon as possible and you will never receive it. now heres the best part when someone signs you up to sell the product saying you can make all this money they are LIARS UNLESS YOU HAVE 20 people working under you you wont make anything basically i sold avon for 6 months i would sell 2-300 worth of product every two weeks and did not make one penny not one actually i would end up owing them an extra 10 everyone would pay for their products and than when i owed avon it didnt add up. another thing it made me llook bad i would have friends oredering stuff from me and they would get pissed off cause they would order stuff and never get it and when you call avon to complain THEY ARE ALL IDIOTS, you are so upset explaining to them what is going on looking for answers to your questions and when your done speaking it is just silence you say hello they say yes im listening i say obviously your not i just asked you a question and your sitting there in silence oh i apologize for the inconvenience and when you ask well what are you going to do about it why do you have false advertising again just sit in silence they are real people yet you feel like your speaking to a robot cause no matter what you say they say the same thing and dont answer your questions terrible. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY OR SELL AVON THEY ARE SCHAMMERS

RETURNS
I am a representative of Avon. I have been trying to get them to remove DUPLICATE returned items that have been in my returns for over 6 months. These items have already been credited to my account, but I can't get AVON to understand that and just remove the duplicate list off my account. I can't use my returns until this is taken care of. I have dealt with at least 5 people and my manager over me and to no avail it is to hard for anyone to understand. My 13 year old understands this!!! Hum!!! I am not sure if this will get to anyone, but if it does please call me.

Slamming your business
I had never been late on a payment or not returned something that they ask me too. Until one day I do a return and they wont process it as they did past. then they tell me I am on a bad credit list. thus for, my customers had to wait a while for their money back, and I could not process my next order until avon reimbursed me. one customer who threw away used hair removal strips will still not get her money back, because in the middle of things avon changed their rules and demand you send back used nasty hair strips, which in the past we were told they were to be discarded. now I can not get them to remove the rma which I wanted credit for and they would not give me. and they owe me a credit which they will not release until I send them the nasty hair strips that the lady threw away. I finally placed an order and they sent me used cosmetics, which I had to turn around and pay to send back to get credit, and I had to wait 6 weeks for the credit. my customers usually only wait 2 weeks between campaigns, but unless you are rich, Avon will put you out of business and find away to keep any credits they owe you.

this is too complicated to be fun
This company does not know how to use the Internet to make the selling experience fulfilling, fun, or just plain easy. They have an ancient accounting system (I believe they still use mainframe computers) and their customer service reps are guaranteed a job as long as they keep their fulfillment system complicated.
It is difficult to understand the charges on the prnted invoices or online. Their descriptions are vague such as "additional order" and "order processing fee" (which is duplicated many times thus adding to the "total" that they are "owed").
Their customer service staff is very nice and helpful but they are in India or Philippines and are working from a script. You must go thru them before you get someone who is a "supervisor" who will then have some knowledge and ability to do anything for you.
Often I have had people hang up on me so I have to call back and go through the entering account number & listening to their constant "commercials" while you wait. Only to have to give my account number yet again when the agent comes on the phone. If I enter the account number why doesn't the system recognize me?
If you have nothing else to do with your life and want to jump through the hoops and takethe "online training" which does not tell you about contingencies, go ahead. But if you want to do this part time figure on spending hours and hours on the phone and on their pathetic web site to figure out what to do and what you owe.
I began by sending my customers to the web site thinking they will have an easy time ... to my chagrin, they told me they had a very difficult time navigating the site. The site is really constructed for representatives, but even for us it is like jumping thru hoops.
I often told the CS folks to change the site to make it easier to use like using Amazon or any other store that has a web presence. They are using a brick and mortar mentality on the web and in my estimation, that is a waste of time and energy.
I feel sorry for you if you have had problems. I just quit this because it made me angry every time I tried to process simple orders. IT is really a nightmare. There is enough drama in my life without having to wrestle with Avon. I'm out and I'm relieved.
I suggest you spread the word all over the Internet if you have trouble. Maybe thenthey will come into the 21st century and make it easier for reps, customers and maybe even their own staff ... although they will most likely have to get rid of customer service agents if it is made to be easier. There's the rub ...
