After happily using AVON products for over 10 years and loosing my job I decided to "Be my own Boss" and join. In reality it was due to necessity, my husband was also cut down from 50 hrs a week to 30. I joined the 7100 district and looked forward to making some good money and I trust the items I am promoting since I used them myself.
-Placed first order on 5/22/10 NEVER received them. On 5/27/10 I contacted AVON they said it was left on my front door. Well I live in a triplex. There is a home in the front and a two story unit in the back I live in the upstairs back unit. Each house had a completely different address not letters address. I specified it was to be delivered upstairs and signature required. AVON promised to sent out the items within 2 business days. I went ahead placed a second order for the following camapaign 12 then I called to check why I have not received my first order. AVON claimed that after reviewing the complaint they found the order was delivered and cancelled the duplicate order. I kept my cool and went through it with them again. Okay they said it will be shipped out in 7 days. At this point my clients did not want the items anymore I was so upset I started crying. Only because I have no money not a penny in our savings and this was the way for us to get some more money and I am being robbed.
-Avon calls me and says they can not sent out my 2nd order with out payment for my first. I asked how am I to pay for what I have not received. they assured me it was on its way. I was very careful to follow the tracking for the second order, and yes I paid the 136 for the first order. The second order contained demos and samples for an AVON party I have been planning, it was tommorow before I cancelled my 35 guests. Nevertheless, I had my 10 windows opened and my front door opened and had my son on SDN watch aswell as my selft at 12 noon I checked the tracking number and I could not believe it! The carrier stated the box was delivered at 11:10 am and there was absolutely NO WAY that was possible. I ran to the front house and my neighbors were at work no package at the door. Again they did not come to the correct house I tried contacting the carrier and how convinient NO # on their website. I called AVON and they stated they could not file a complaint until tommorow. At this point I am blowing fumes from every pore. SDN lied they NEVER Delievered anything. They did not even bother to go upstairs or verify the address. I am so upset I waisted money on flyers and food for the party and was expecting to make a lot of money and now Im out over 200 and no products...AVON has done nothing to fix this issue and my rep VERONICA has not done anything either. I will continue to fight until I get my money back but this is the worst nighmare I ever got into. SDN is the worst service ever and AVON is the worst company ever they do nothing to help you and they sound like they are reading of a list when they answer your questions...these companies are ran by idiots who don't know how to follow simple instructions. And I truly believe they have not even attempted to deliver anything. Please do not join AVON its not worth it. I will also not buy any AVON products either Im sticking to MAC it may be a little more but its reliable and good.
