Axis Bank Bad Customer Care/Service
I recieved the following messsage from "LM-AxisBank" at 01:38 PM on 11/12/2009
"Your Axis Bank credit card 7492 is blocked for internet transactions due to incorrect password. To unblock your credit card, pls contact us at 18604258888/022-25261201."
This message clearly tells that the card was tried to be used online, with a wrong password and it has been blocked.
I called the given number 18604258888 for some clarification, and the reply was very rude and unsatisfying.
I had called today morning (11/12/2009 around 9:15 AM) and she gave me some irrelevant information about it and the call got disconnected.
I called back and asked her to listen to me first and then reply, read out the entire message I received, yet she said that the card was blocked and cant be used. This is a very unsatisfying information, as I wanted when the card was actually used, and as much information, so that I can help track if any one is trying to misuse the card. Probably he/she doesn't know that the card is already blocked when the last transaction was made and I confirmed to the Axis Bank calling agent that I did not do the transaction.
A few extra details: I had a Axis Bank Gold Corporate Card.which got two fraud transaction, I reported first, got a call for second, got card blocked on Nov 11. The Bank is not willing to help me more about the second fraud as they say it happened online in a secure way. Now they are not giving me any extra details about the recent event (please see the quoted message).
I had asked them not block the existing card as well so that no one cane do any further fraud on it, but the agent is not doing it.
No one knows my password, and I change it from time to time & have never shared any information with others by spam mail or anything else.

Fraud and Cheater Bank
They charged me extra charges without any notice. Whenever I called there customer support they didn't pick up the phone. Really the worst service ever. Never get the credit card from the Axis Bank.

I received a call today from your credit card department Delhi (011-22092076)in response to complain regarding my credit card application First i did not received any verification call from Bank/Dsa/Dst/Ccd since the time i applied for card, and now your executive told that your application has been rejected because you are working with construction/ real estate company.
IF A PERSON IS WORKING IN A REAL ESTATE / CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THEN HE WILL BE A DEFAULTER AND IF HE IS ASSOCIATED WITH SOME OTHER CATEGORY COMPANY THEN HE WILL BE A VALUABLE CUSTOMER? IS THERE ANY LOGIC INTO THIS?
SO YOU THINK OTHER BANKS WHO HAVE GIVEN ME PLATINUM CARDS WITH LIMIT IN LACS ARE NOT FOLLOWING THEIR BANKS GUIDELINES
GO THROUGH MY CREDIT REPORT & SEE IS THERE ANY DEFAULT IN THE PAST EVEN IF WHEN THERE WAS RECESSION.
Actually this is not your fault now a days most of the multinational & private banks only concentrate on their targets or goals rather than customers, it is really very bad to see such types of attitude..
I am customer of your bank since 5 years & was in a impression that axis bank is very customer friendly but after this hallowing experience i will think thrice before recommending any one to you.

Reg. Statement & Direct Debit from acct.
I have not received the card statement from last 3 months, i have already apply for e-statement one month ago in Customer Care also. Bank's Customer Care Service is worst!!!
I suggested to customer care about cancellation of Bajaj Allainze mediclaim policy but my premium gets debited from my salary account directly.This is the way of tie up procedure of Axis bank with Bajaj, its so reduculus.
Then now last but not least my credit card (purchsing amt) directly debited from my account without intimating me. Only massage gets pass on me about amt gets debited from acct.How is this possible ?
At the end I come to conclusion that I have to go in Consumer Court regarding this irresponsible things of debiting amt.I worn to your organisation if this time problem is not solved thats my next move. So pls control your all procedures reg customer

faulse CC statement
Dear Sir
Again and again a surprising bill (for 3rd. time) ref No.Sky-1504-11035 received by me on 26/4/08. Again I totally disagree with this statement, as I'm not holding any crdit card. In this regard my previous mails dated 24/1/08 & 26/2/08 (Service request No 163700) yet no response till now.And my Complain to axis bank cedit card customer service [email protected] (Stated in CC statement)returned back as failure notice. Now I'm mentally confused cause to how & where my objection can be logged.

Cheating on initial charges
hi,
I had applied for axis bank credit card due to frequent calls from their marketing executives and they promised me that this is a life time free card and no initial charges will be incurred on this. As per this I applied and got the card, on the first month itself, I had made a transaction of Rs.300/-. When the statement for the month came it is showing and additional Rs.500 as initial charge. I had made the payment of what i have taken. Now, they are frequently calling me to make the remaining payment. I'm not planning to make that payment as it is cheating from their side. I would like to cancel this card but I don't know the procedure to cancel this. No cancellation procedure is specified in their website as well.

Charges for late payment
i have a credit card 0f axis bank imade payment regularly on time drop cheque in nearby chandani chowk DELHI branch but this time they were late in clearing by mistake of branch for that card people slapped fine of Rs 985 aftermany attempts to helpline i write this

Settlement
After lot many calls & e-mails nobody was responding. At last I mailed things to Chairman of Axis Bank. Within 24 working hours i got call from their Mumbai office & Delhi Office. Delhi guy named Mr. Gulati promised within two days his person will visit to settle the things. Till date even after one week nobady came, no phone calls. Above all my saving account kept in lien & sending me legal notice. If you call customer service its pathetic. They will keep you on hold for more than 5 to 10 min. after which response will be of no use.

Mis-selling of a credit card!
I would like to share my greivences with everyone who has got a credit-card from any of the banks. I would like to give a brief description of my problem with a pathetic bank i.e. "Axis Bank". First of all, I have never applied for any credit-card from Axis bank & suddenly I received an SMS on my mobile number as a confirmation that my credit-card application has been approved and I will receive my card within few days. I tried to ring that number immediately but I could not get through.
After few days, I received a call from a courier company who wanted to confirm my residence address to deliver a packet from axis bank. I confirmed the address and could not ask anything from them regarding the same as I was in my office & was busy in doing some official work.
I opened that packet in the evening and found two cards from axis bank. One of the cards was under my name and other one was under my younger brother's name. I was little bit surprised to receive these two cards from axis bank as I had never applied for any credit card from them. I contacted them to get the proper confirmation and they told me that they did receive my application form and that's why these cards were sent to me. I also told them that nobody has done any sort of verification before the approval of my card application.
I took it lightly and thought that there is no harm to have a credit card from axis bank as I was already using so many cards from various banks. However, the first problem got start when I did not receive my card statement for the first three months. I contacted the customer service of axis bank once again to know the total outstanding and the reason for the non-delivery of my card statement.
I got amazed to know that I have been charged somewhere about Rs.3500 as a joining fee to have this card from axis bank. I explained the whole story to the customer service executive that I have been mis-led by axis bank as I was never told that there is a joining fee to have a credit-card from axis bank as no other bank charges anything for their credit card.
I have raised this complaint so many times and spent a lot of money on the phone calls made to the customer service of axis bank because they have their customer service center in Mumbai. Everytime, I was given an assurance of an amended card statement but got nowhere. Now, I am receiving threatening letters from an advocate of axis bank to pay the outstanding immediately which is ridiculous. I was quite sure that axis bank can do such kind of appalling things since their past have been too good to have faith on them. But, I want to warn them that the time has been changed and everyone is aware about the laws & orders. I am going to file a case against them in "Consumer Forum" and will realize them about their serious mistake. Thanks & regards.

Joining fee & Annual charges
I had applied for a credit card from Axis Bank. The card was issued to me with the assurance that no joining fee and/or annual charges will be charged from me.
I made a transaction of approx. Rs. Three hundred( Rs. 300/-). But when I recieved my first statement I was surprised to discover that a sum of Rs. One thousand and Five hundred (Rs. 1500/-) was charged from me as the annual charges and joining fee. In spite of frequent telephonic complaints, the same was not waived off. Instead, late payment charges and interest has been applied. Now, my statement reflects an amount of Rs.two thousand four hundred sixty four and fifty six paise( Rs. 2464.56).
I request the concerned authorities to kindly take immidiate and proper steps to look into the matter.
