I called this plumber to ask if they could do a "small job" for me. It was the Monday of Memorial Day weekend. They sent someone over without telling me that they would charge three times their normal rate. It was an unimportant ten-minute job and they charged me $250! (Their rate for that day was time-and-a-half with a two hour minimum.) Had they told me, I would never have had them over. Four phone calls to the boss were not returned (despite promises from his wife that he would do so). I finally reached him, told him that the charge was excessive, and asked for a partial refund. He told me they "were not in the business of returning money to customers."

I certainly do not recommend B&G Plumbers in Wilmington, NC, to anyone.
