I ordered 3 pieces of furniture for my expected newborn about 6 weeks ago. I was told that the furniture would take 7 to 14 business days to arrive. For the past 2 weeks, I have called the store various times to follow up and see when the furniture would be arriving and I have been given several different and contradictory excuses as to why the furniture is unready to be delivered. I don't know which excuse is actually true. I am now about a week away from delivering my baby who will have no place to sleep since his crib has still not arrived. During my last heated discussion with the manager at this store I was told that my furniture would be delivered in one week. Well, its nice to finally get a definitive answer but I don't even know if I will be here in a week-I may be in the hospital giving birth! The best case scenario here is that I will deliver late and be setting up the baby's crib a few days before he arrives. There is a good chance that my newborn will come home from the hospital and have no place to sleep.
The poor level of customer service and the utter lack of any viable options to fix this problem are apalling to me. I seriously don't know how this store has any business if this is the way they operate. I would think that they would have attempted to do something, anything to try to fix the problem but instead they just say "oh sorry".
I would definitely rethink any baby furniture purchases from this company. Trying to actually get the products you paid for in a timely manner is extremely stressful.
