I ordered a high chair from this website for my niece who is expecting a baby girl. The shower is Jan. 20. Despite placing this order three weeks early, the website has not reflected the sale. I even called customer service which advised that the website would be updated "in a few minutes." It hasn't happened. The item is still showing as not yet purchased. Not only does this unfair practice result in unnecessary duplicate items being bought, it also results in unfair shipping charges being paid by multiple buyers. Babyrus says its policy is not to reflect an item as having been purchased until it actually SHIPS. Problem with this is that they also say the item will take two to three weeks to ship. In the meantime, multiple orders get placed for the same item. This means the mother will have many items to return to babysrus, and the company gets the unfair advantage of having the mother have to purchase more items from it. This is one of the worst sites I have used.
