2 1/2 yrs. ago we contacted them and told them we no longer wanted the house and to take it back, we even found someone that was willing to buy it from them. We left that house and moved to a different State and we still receive notices from the mortgage place, city, county. They keep paying taxes and insurance and charging us.
They refuse to foreclose after all this time, ignored the person wanting to buy it. I am sure sitting empty all this time in that neighborhood it is broken into and crack head infested and they still refuse to foreclose.
I am sick and tired of receiving anything pertaining to that house!!

We have been getting repeated phone calls. The caller ID says "Loan Counseling". I have not answered the calls because is an 800 number and I figure it is some type of sales call. After 3 days in one day I dialed the number back and found that it is BAC Home Lone Servicing. The automated answering machine wants me to enter my loan number or my social security number. I answer no to this because I figure if they have called me, they should know why they called. (Now-a-days you can't trust giving your ID or information to an automated machine of a company that you don't know anything about). So I hang up because there is no way to get to a person to talk to. A couple of hours later I receive another call. I answer and the woman asked for Mr or Mrs. I say I'm Mrs. She then asked me for my social security number. I tell her that I don't know who she is and that I don't give out that information over the phone to a stranger. She then says "thank you" and hangs up. I then Google BAC Home Loan servicing and see that many folks are having problems with this company. I call their number again and told the enter the account and, of course, the messatge says they are a debt collector. Well, we did receive notice back in last 2009 that the loan was being transferred from BAC to this company. We followed directions and entered the new account number into our autopayment from our bank and changed the amoutn of the payment per the directions provided. That payment is going out automatically regular as clock work. So why are they calling and if they need to talk to us about something, why can't they say why they are calling instead of asking us for provide information they already have. The I find their website which looks like anyone who is a leader can go in and find out information to use for their own business. We have always paid our bills and are not late with payments. We have had the loan just a little over a year so what is going on? They are not leaving a message to call them (first time they had done this, but again, there is no direct line nor any indication as to whom I should talk to about whatever it is THEY want to talk about. Any suggestions as to how to deal with this company (or not) would be appreciated.
