Date: May 7, 2011. Bach Shelties scammed me out of $200! After researching a new puppy on www.puppyfind.com I "purchased" a 14 month puppy from Deborah Bach's daughter Mindy over the phone. Mindy expressed it was necessary to sell some of her shelties due to her mothers illness and she was acting in behalf of her mother due to her illness. I also investigated the Bach sheltie website as well as their offered pedigrees. I gave them a deposit via paypal on"Jack" of $200 promising to pay the balance in cash when I picked him up that weekend. I had a 5 hour drive to get to the kennel from Illinois. I emailed and called Bach Shelties many times throughout the week trying to get the address of their kennel for pickup. None of my pleas were ever responded to and consequently I could not pick up the "as promised" Jack. I am out the dog AND out the $200 deposit, not to mention the disappointment. Paypal tells us the money was deposited in a bank in California. I have been scammed - and don't want others to fall for this hoax.
