My Mother ordered a product from Back Joy. The product was a seat you put ina chair. She received the seat and it was worthless!!!No help at all. She sent it back and yes they gave her the amount she paid for it. She did not receive the shipping & handling charges for sending it back or for the charges for sending it. In February she got her bank statement. There was a charge of 39.95 from Carexpress. She called her bank to see if they had a number she could call and find out why they had charged her this. So we found out Back Joy had sold her check card # or they were affiliated with carexpress already. They are saying she agreed to trying something about med/discounts. I listened to a recording of one conversation she had with someone from back joy, telling her that the seat she had ordered was on the way. Then he started telling her about this carexpress and she told him she already had a drug prescription card and she didn't need any thing else. He would not shut up or let her talk and just kept talking. Finally when he would not quit talking she just hung the phone up. So they are saying she agreed to trail offer of becoming a member of this scam medical discounts. I did not hear her say she agreed on this. She is a elderly woman on a fixed low income and this seems to be who they target. They told her today she would not be getting a refund for the two charges of 39.95. We are going call the FBI and FTC to see if we can do any thing about this fraud/scam. They need to be put out of business for trying to sell this crap!!!
