Currently I have more than 1 vehicle insured by Badger Insurance Company in Illinois. A recent incident happened to cause damage to 2 of the fully covered autos. One of my vehicles rolled backward (no one in either vehicle) into the other, thus causing extensive damage to both vehicles. Upon having the vehicles transported to a Collision Center I was informed that the body work would be done to both vehicles but the company would not cover matching paint-trim to one of the vehicles. I now have a new model truck with an incomplete paint job and am told I must pay for the rest out of pocket (amounting to some 1900 dollars. Both vehicles are less than a year old and as I stated before, have full coverage insurance. Am I then correct in the assumption that if both vehicles involved in an accident are with the same insurance company that I am only entitled to what repairs that the company wants to cover? If another vehicle owner having the same insurance company as mine hit my vehicle, shouldn't my vehicle be put back to the way it was prior to the damage?
Very poor service, beware!
