I am not happy with the bike performance and reliability
I have purchased a new Discover 100 cc 6 months back, I am not happy with the bike performance and reliability, any time its stop running. In traffic driving this bike experience is ridiculous.

Such a waste of time and petrol
I have purchase Bajaj Pulsar 135 on 6th March 2010 and from day one i am facing problem with bike for Fast engine in neutral status, Black smoke and Fork making noise, Same was informed to dealer on very next day to Sai Service, Borivali ( E ) and they ask me to show it to service centre just behind them. I am staying at Malad ( W ) and almost 4 times i have visited the Service centre for the same time but never got rectified. Finally i had shown the bike in Andheri Sai Service Centre and the Gentleman there solved the problem of Fast engine but inspite of informing them about Fork noise they have not done for this problem and when i got this bike next day engine was fine but fork noise was still there. In one months time i have visited Sai Service Centre almost five times and i got resolution only for one problem. Such a waist of time and petrol. Now there is new problem started with bike, when it comes to reserve it stops.

Stay far away from Bajaj Auto Ltd.
With a heavy heart I would like to bring this to your notice that I am seeking for some explanations on the warranty policy for Bajaj Pulsar 150, UG-3 model and there is no one to help me here. I had been calling on the number that was printed on the booklet for Bangalore region but sadly no one seems to pick the call.

I had bought a UG-3 on 09/01/07 from M/S R.V Bajaj, Bangalore with extended warranty. I have logged on some 26000 km and it is now the 3rd year. Lately my bike has been consuming a lot of engine oil and there is some white smoke from the exhaust now and low pick up. I had been giving the bike for regular service to the same dealer for the same problem but they couldn't rectify the problem. Now I am being told that there is mild "ceasure" on the cylinder walls and the piston. When I claimed for warranty I was told that I would not be eligible and the reason cited was that of "possible adultrated fuel". The question is how am I supposed to know if the fuel is adultrated? Also is it true that I would have to pay for the repairs? Will I not get a warrant CLAIM on this? The manual says clearly that piston-cylinders and valve train drive come under warranty.

Kindly enlighten me with the company's warranty claims cover policy. And let me know if I would get a warranty repair.

After buying Bajaj XCD 135cc DTS Si I only experienced a big trouble
I was very happy to buy India famous Bajaj XCD 135cc DTS Si but after buying only I experienced a big trouble. It has SELF START problem. Every morning, when I press the self start key, only the ignition sound is generated (heard by all neighbours) but no action in the engine. After several attempts, I have to make kick start only. If I have to kick start every morning, then why to pay extra for self start facility, is a shear wastage.

I am facing acute embarrassment while using SELF every morning since all neighbors are watching me start a brand new Bajaj XCD 135cc and seeing me sweating out of shame.

One day a person walking by asked me, "Shall I push from back", hope it will start then!!! (Bajaj this is a compliment for you all at Bajaj Auto Ltd.)

By the way, to make it very clear my fuel tank is full and tap is not closed.

Noise occurs in chain without any reason while vehicle is running
Since I purchased my vehicle I got two problems in that, 1. Headlights upper/dipper switch malfunction and 2. Noise occurs in chain without any reason while vehicle is running. The same has been reported to the Auto Sales workshop people for correction but every time I got promised that these will be corrected, but they did nothing. When again it was reported for correction they said in next service it will be corrected, but they did not remove fault from my vehicle till the last free service, and made me compel to write you directly.

Now my free service period has finished but I want the same should be repaired by Bajaj Auto immediately.

They are unable to commit the exact date and time for the the delivery of bike
I gave my pulsar for service at Suman Auto Noida(A Bajaj Auto Service Centre). They commited to give it next day in the morning but they didnt. For the four the they are committing again and again from evening to morning and morning to evening. But ther are unable repair the bike. I went three times taking leave from office. But no result. Still they are unable to commit the exact date and time for the the delivery of bike.

If you count the loss of my salary due to this, that will more than the money I woul pay for the service/repair of my bike.

The bike has a hell of a lot of vibrations
I just purchased a pulsar 200 dts-i and as you know it is not a cheap bike or everyones affordable bike. I put a lot of thought and trusting bajaj went for the pulsar 200. My complaints to my shock are the following:

1. The rear right indicator is not working and right indicator is blinking too fast. It is just four days into running and whoah, indicator not working which makes you ponder i got off easily only indicator so no problem...but please guys read on.

2. The fuel gauge as bajaj says their electronic gadget is completely tested and 99% faultless is wrong. When i on the bike, my fuel out of 10 times gives me a wrong indication either just below full or either very low. Actually the mark should be halfway up, because i filled Rs. 500 of petrol and immediately the gauge showed full but then my bike has done only 186 kms so far and even if it shows half it is not accurate but i can convince myself but not if it shows less than that. Even once the red light on my rpm meter glowed on but then shut off immediately.

3. The bike has a hell of a lot of vibrations, i have never gone over the 45 max 47 mark on the speed but even then it has lots of vibrations and the fairing and tail fairing shakes like theres an earthquake or godzilla just put a step on the ground nearby. It is really scaring in the sense you want your running in done properly and according to norms, but so much shaking that now I have to drive my bike less than 40 and cant go to fifth gear.

4. The bike has a heating problem even though the bike comes with an air cooler god alone knows what it cools coz the bike after 20 or 25 km on a stretch literally lets out fire and you can feel it when you wear sandals and if you are wearing shoes you will feel your shoes need a cooler.

5. The other problem is with the O-ring chain or jazzy stylish chain or whatever they say, if you look at it closely it is almost touching your rear tyre, and hence you get scared how in the world can bajaj make such a pathetic bike.

ALL IN ALL BAJAJ AT LEAST PULSAR 200 WHICH I OWN IS A TROUBLE-COST BIKE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUYING A PULSAR 200

My plead with people wanting to buy p200 is that go for 180 or 150 or 220 (though i dont have hands on 220), but DONT TAKE A PULSAR 200 AND IF YOU DO DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU.

I have always had bikes from bajaj aside from my first bike that was a passion plus, i have owned a pulsar 180, pulsar 150, platina, and discover...BUT AFTER 5 YEARS OF BAJAJ BIKES MY ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD TO PAY AFTER OWNING A BIKE AND WANT TO BE TROUBLE FREE, PLEASE GO FOR A HERO HONDA OR HONDA...BUT NOT BAJAJ

I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE GIVING BAJAJ CHANCE AFTER CHANCE HOPING FOR THE BEST BUT NO...THEY HAVE TIME AND TIME DISAPPOINTED ME AND HENCE I DONT WANT PEOPLE WHO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO BE DISSAPOINTED, SO PLEASE DONT BUY A BAJAJ BIKE WHATEVER HAPPENS.

I do not get any reasonable response or i do not see my issue resolved
I purchased pulsar200cc from jai autos(adyar, chennai).Since i brought this vehicle i noticed problem with steering control.I was not comfortable or confident while taking close turns as it goes zig zag.I have left the bike for service regularly.I have covered 10000 + kms.

I have complained about the problem to them everytime i leave my bike for service and quiet recently i had oil leaking problem from engime. They took 2 days to rectify the problem. While leaving again i reported the problem to service personnel.Still they dont respond .They givce excuses of tyre pressure and all.I have tried tyre pressures and still i have problem with the steering control of my bike.

I dont get any resonable response or i dont see my issue resolved.I dont feel happy driving my bike and i am completely dissatisfied with the after sale service.
