I live in London and ordered a Gefen HD Scaler from Ballyhoogle - a thing that lets me hook up my Xbox 360 to my Apple monitor. I placed my order and received an automatic email response.
Two weeks later, I still had not received the item, so I emailed 'John' to get an update on my order. No reply.
Two days after that, I emailed again. Still no reply.
Four days later, I sent another email. No reply.
As their website listed my order as simply 'Processing', I wasn't even sure if the order had completed, so later that day I emailed to instruct Ballyhoogle to cancel my order. Of course, I received no reply!
I ordered the item elsewhere and received it promptly.
Then I just checked my bank statement and saw that they did take the money from my card on the day I placed the order. Great! If someone had got back to me, telling me that my product was in (extremely slow) transit, then I wouldn't have wasted $300 buying a duplicate.
It's now over a month since I placed that order, and I still haven't received anything. This company is a JOKE! I will be telling all my friends about my experience. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
