I signed up 2 years ago and was told that I could buy a year and get a year free paying 42.00 a month or do 19.99 a month for two years I went with the 42.00 . But when the second year came no one knew what I was talking about and i had to pay 42.00 for another year.Which I did not attend the gym at all because when I stared I was told I would get a free sesion with a trainer when I asked I was told someone would help me which never happend so I asked again and again and same thing I was not going to ask a therd time besides I never recived a membership card the computers were always down. It was one thing after another. Now that my two years are up I have to call this number 1866-402-2559 to get the payments stoped which you cant talk to anyone. So that left me calling back the club to find out you have to send it in writing to Ca to have them stop taking money out of my acct. I feel if bally cared about their members they would not make this so streeful and stick to what they tell you I would have stayed if only they would not have gave me such a hard time. No one should have to deal with this after all if it was not for the members paying their would be no ballys.

When contracting with Ballys they promise to void the contract if the customer moves to a place that is more than 50 miles away from a Ballys gym. The customer must inform Ballys and show that they have moved. THE TRICK: In October I faxed my Florida employment contract to Ballys 3 times. The pretend that they never received. REpeated phone calls and lots of time on hold got me to customer "service" magangers who say that no fax was received. (Or as one woman told me, "We get hundreds of faxes a day, you know.") The same information along with a letter from my employer went ignored. Ballys has continued to charge me. I call my credit card every month and dispute the charge. I have sent registered letters and tracked letters. I have provided a yellow stickered forwarded letter, as requested. The continue to charge me. They will not give out a phone number to the main office where mail and faxes have been sent. MUCH WORSE: They do the same things to US military serving in Iraq. They pretend that copies of military orders have not been received. BALLYS IS IN WELL-DESERVED BANKRUPTCY.
