We pay our credit cards off every month, and are not late -- unless we don't get the bills. Four times now my Bank of America credit card bill has either arived late -- after the "pay by" date -- or not at all. The company says they aren't responsible for the U.S. mail service not delivering the mail. Well, it's strange that my BoA bill is the only bill that arrives late (or never) -- and it's to their advantage for me to be late, because then they get to charge me interest plus a late fee. They say I can bank online -- but I've had bad experiences with identity fraud -- no thanks!!

I've experienced one of most horrible customer service after calling the Bank of America (BofA) toll free number. The rep made jokes about the payment I sent the previous month to pay a credit card balance that BofA never credited to my account, plus posted a $39 late fee. He said that live was though and should get over and send a "good" check.
In September, I sent 3 checks to pay my credit card balance (never missed a payment either with them or any other bank). I received a letter stating that they could not honor one of the checks because it was a cash advanced check issued by a financial institution from the same FIA group, what I understand. But, one of checks was a personal check for $8, 000 from my checking account (with more than enough funds to cover it) and the other was another cash advance check from another financial institution. Even though the fact that I sent 2 cash advance checks may have sent the wrong message, I don't have any balance at all on those accounts and was trying to lower my over all interest with a couple of offers, since BofA had recently increased to an insane 17.9%.
I'm planning to pay that cc account, close the account and never deal with them.

I accepted an offer for a BofA credit card through a professional organization at 9.99%. After I started using it, I made a late payment and went beyond the limit twice. My interest was raised to 26.9%. I complained through my professional organization and the interest was reduced to 9.9% once again. I began paying every other week, and didn't use the card. Somehow, during one period, my first payment fell within the previous month, and the second payment was 2 days late. The immediately raised my interest rate to 26.9%. I'm still fighting this incredible rate, can't believe a professional organiza-tion could be conned like this by BofA.

I/we paid for it, now they are taking even MORE!

I have had my Bank of America credit card for about 10 years. They contiued to up my credit line to $20, 000.00. Now that they are in trouble they have reduced it to $ 7, 500.00. A plain white envelope was sent in the mail and I almost through it out. When I opened it I was surprised to see it was from Bank of America. All of the other mailings I receive always have BANK OF AMERICA on the envelope. They are now raising my rate, if I don't contact them. HOW many people threw away the same letter.
Their customer service is aweful. NO one knows who the person is that I last spoke with, "We are too large to know the names of everyone who works here" "OH, that person didn't take notes or put anything about your last conversation." I have been waiting since 3/3/09 to get a problem on my bill corrected. All I hear is "My supervisor will get back to you, no we can't connect you"

I have noticed that Bank Of America Has not sent me my monthly bill. I was in shock after calling them, that they claim they have sent each monthly bill.
I called the postal service and asked them to inquire about misplaced or misdelivered mail. They said no issues there. So I call Bank Of America today and the operator told me that they have had similar claims and numerous people in the same situation as myself. Is it a ploy to damage my credit or place me with penalties due to a game the credit company is playing for revenue?
I pay all my bills on time and dont try to dance around not paying what I owe. Please help me.
