Mr Tejas Patel Bank Of America
Mr Tejas Patel workings PRo in Bank Of america dont know how to talk to their customer. He is a Public Relation officer but dont know how to talk, very rude arrogant.
If these people are managing BOA then people will stop going to banks for their problems.

Horrible customer service
A client in Canada had to send us a check for services. He went to his bank and got all of the information he needed from me to send money direct from his bank to my local Bank of America. Apparently the "name" they asked for wasn't the contact name, but the business name and the wire didn't go through. Bank of America immediately took $40 from the transaction. No wonder they make so much money when hitting up small businesses with frivolous fees for poor instruction.

Bad service
I was recently laid off from the bank. They are shipping the computer jobs to India and then claim they are an american bank. I called up to get information on my 401k but could not remember my password. Got someone in India. I was told I could not have my password since I did not work for the bank anymore. I told him I was considered a retiree. All I could get from him was a "you dont work for the bank so I cant give you your password to get to your 401k" at least thats what I thought he said but could not really understand everything he was saying. So am still trying to get to my 401k but everytime I try I get someone from India who cant speak english and wont help. Moving my money to Wells Fargo.

overdraft
Deposited a check given to me by my son, Money was immediately taken from son account and they put a hold on the funds on my account. I used the atm/debit card three times for small debits which they have debited my $35 per instance.
So they charged a $105 for giving a one day overdarft for $32.00.
They had the money with them., ...where is our Governmnet as we talk about being fair to citizens.
Who controls this country.

Bank of america simply a thief that hold our money ransom. I believe our Government should have let them bankkrupt.

American Express Credit Card
I have been a member of Bank Of America (thorough it's many incarnations) since 1988. I opened a Bank of America American Express Credit Card in 2006 and have been paying loyally on it. I fell unto hard times when my car blew its engine and could not pay off my many credit cards. I went to my bank, (with which I also have a checking, savings and Mortgage with) to seek a loan. They would not grant me the loan based on the fact that had so much in credit card debt. (Even though I specifically sought the loan to pay off the debt.) I misplaced my credit card a year ago (I never opened the new card envelope and it is in a box somewhere in my storage unit). I have since gotten my car fixed and started paying off the debts. When I called to have my American Express Card replaced, they told me that due to my lowered credit rating (caused by the fact that they didn't give me a loan to pay off my cards), my credit card account (which I have been paying on loyally) would be closed. After 22 years of dealing with them, I am at my breaking point. I am going to close my savings & checking accounts and looking to have my mortgage handled by another bank.

accounts closed without notice and world points lost
we received a letter Saturday that our checking account with BOA was going to be put on restriction in 21 days and closed in 30 and that it was a business decision. We have been banking with BOA for over 10 years and have the worldpoints card and all of our mortgages with them. We pay off our card each month because we use it for everything to accumulate points and use our points for gifts and vacation travel. That same saturday morning with no advance warning our credit card was declined and when we called they stated it was closed due to inactivity. which is totally false because as I said we use it for everything and had just used it the night before. Our credit score is well above 700. We have called and gone into local branches and no one can help us other than directing us to call the account closures department. That department is simply a recording stating they r busy with other customers and stresses twice at the beginning and at the end that it is the BOA is not required to explain the reason for the closure. So basically they say leave your name and number and we will call you within 24 to 48 hours but it is their policy and they are not required to tell us anything. We are also unable to access our funds locally. To make matters worse we have over 500, 000 worldpoints that we were saving for vacation and I cannot even access my worldpoints account because the card was closed and was told when I called that the points are usually forfieted when accounts are closed!!! We received a call from the account closures dept and they said they do not have to nor will they tell us why the accounts were closed and that our points are forfeited as per the credit card agreement and that there is nothing we can do!!! That is crazy!!! we earned those points!!!

misapplying payments
unbelievable situation. As we are communicating with the pay-off dept. and they are giving me amount to pay, I make the payment with a certified check along with the payoff slip and they take the funds and split them up to apply towards a late fee charge which gives me a 900.00 balance on my principal which they are now applying additional interest to and to make matters worse the home is undergoing extensive rehab and we cant get h.owners on it so they force coverage on us for the face amount of 160, 000.00 which is twice the original amount of the loan and the only insurable interest they have on this property is for under 1000.00. I have tried very hard to get them to reverse the payment and then we can negotiate the additional charges so we can get our deed but BOA is very obstenant to the point where we want to remortgage to get away from the crooks that they are. They have been working hard to make our loan grow in size and not go down. What are we supposed to do???

Home Loan
Bank of America kept my husband and me tied up for 3 months, from December 17, 2010 to March 18, 2011, waiting to close on a small loan in the amount of $40, 000 on a home short sale price of $54, 000. We agreed to put an additional $10, 000 down in the beginning of February, making the loan only $30, 000, and were told we would close in one week if we did that. Then 3 weeks later we were told no. I contacted the regional manager of the bank in Reno, who called JulieDonald, who was the Loan Approval Dept manager, and then we were again accepted for the loan, but now they had to send the loan to their legal Project Approval Dept because the Heritage South HOA was in litigation with many other condo associations against another bank for not paying 9 months of HOA fees in foreclosure sales. This had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with anything at all with our loan, but after 2 more weeks, we were denied for that reason. My husband and I own our large home free and clear, own another condo which is rented for $775.00 month, and have a land contract where we collect money every month for that. We owe nothing. If we cannot get a loan, who can? We are irate at our treatment by Bank of America. The American public bailed these banks out, and they were given money to assist people with buying homes, but they keep looking for any loophole so they do not have to loan money. We are going to lose our home because of them.

on-line employees using Complaint Board
TD577 Works for Bank of America!!! FYI, he is getting paid by the company to come on- line and try to confuse people with the facts about his banking industries corrupt practices. He will pop up on everyone's letter of complaint but only for Bank of America. This is his full time job. He is getting paid to make ignorant comments and to criticize people, he is a cooperate vulture at B of A, FYI to those who chose to dare write about his company. He is the opposite of what this website was created for (CONSUMERS.) The big cooperations have nothing better to do, since they are not helping consumers at all!!

Fraud, Embezzlement, Loan Modification
Bank of America and BAC Home Loans is the most criminal banking organization on our planet. Their only goal is to destroy millions of lives not help them like they say on their website. This is misrepresentation and false advertising. Quite honestly, the whole banking system needs to be replaced. Many people are standing up and fighting these monsters:
