mad at b of a

customer abuse
we have done bussiness with b of a for 40 years and they got our tax payer money with bailouts and then they played god with our money as to who would stay in bussiness, and when you can't survive the economy and get a loan they force you to default and then are quick to ruin your credit so you can't get anything from anyone. That is customer abuse. I hope some crazy person blows up all their offices.

fraud
bank of america is the most disorganized, inefficient fraudulent bank.
they are rude, do not care about their customers .
i had paid my monthly mortgage and the money was even debitted from my account
but the money was lost by the bank, but they started charging me late fee and harrassing me for a repeat payment.
when i called the bank with proof of payment and the debit from my account, they referred me to the research department.
they promised to look into the matter and stop the creditors calls and refund the late fee.
the following month my statement included double the payment plus the late charges with interest
i ccalled again and they said that they would look into that.
creditors ccontinued to harrass me.
this continued for subsequent months - for a period of 5 months during which time i spend atleast 3 hours a week talking to the morgage .
no one in the mortage department would give their last name.
finally they traced money and apparently resolved the issue, only to get the mortgage statement including a late fee of 402 dollars saying i had not paid it
i already have 3 mortgages with them, that was fraudulently given to me with misrepresentation and over and above that, they are continuing to harrass me,
i have just contacted an attorney to help me through this ordeal
please do not go to BOA for any of your mortgages or even banking.
i have heard this type of complaints from several of my friends

Holding deposit funds too long
Bank of America play 'games' with their customer deposits. I am out of town on business and needed to get a cashier's check to pay an urgent bill. I tried to get a cashier's check with a Chase ATM..but there were no Chase banks in New Hampshire. But there was a Bank of America in New Hampshire. So I deposited a Chase deposit in a Bank of America bank in New Hampshire and the check cleared the next day.. and I had proof. However, Bank of America REFUSED to release the hold on the funds until 10 days later - regardless if I could show proof of funds clearing. I feel that Bank of America practices criminal banking procedures and until someone stands up to them, they will continue their shenanagans.

Continual misinformation and abuse of power
I have been a B of A customer since 2003, and am now looking to closet account. Not only have I been a victim of account fraud (which resulted in them sitting idly by without sending me the propped forms while I ran around like a maniac trying to get my money back), but I have also been charged overdraft fees on a positive balance, had a monthly fee charged to my account for what should have been a free student checking account, have had my transactions rearranged as to make as much as possible in overdraft fees and have also had holds placed on my account despite it having a positive balance and no recent overdraft charges. It seems to take them at least two business days to process a payroll check deposit and no matter who you talk to, you get contradictory information on when your fund will be available. I was told by a customer service rep that using the phone and online banking services are complimentary to us, and yet they aren't always accurate. No matter what the reason for calling, you will always get a run-around with the same "I'm sorry but we can't do that" line. Do yourself a favor and pick another bank. B of A is not worth the time or stress, and your hard earned money is too precious to have stolen by these money grubbing corporate bums.

Home loan
I bought an investment home and had loan from BOA through a brook, the whole process was unbelievably snap. BOA had my husband’s information entered wrong into their computer than asked my brook and us did a lot of extra work, and they kept promise they will have all paper ready but until the last day (it was HUD property, must close at certain day); while they worked with my brook, they wrongly emailed us information what they should send to the brook with encryption(my GOD, what happen if they email our information to others?). The worst was, on the last day when we got the closing office, the close attorney said BOA had found errors on HUD, they were making changes and didn’t know how long it will take; 1 and ½ hours later, we had been told to be back to office at 4:30. We finished sign all papers and found they charged too much for escrow, that is not allowed. The attorney said the house was not completely closed and we couldn’t have keys. But you know BOA began to charge us interest from that day. The following week, the attorney office send email to BOA back-forth, finally we got the refund of escrow surcharge, but not even mention any interest.
While had this loan from BOA for the above investment house, we were doing refinance our primary residence from BOA via the same brook. BOA was our older lender, too. The ref. was delayed to the last day d on August11, somehow the funded on August 19 instead 16, I am not sure if we paid another extra 3 days interest, because when I received the escrow refund yesterday, I didn’t see any details. The refund toke them more than one month after I called couple of times.
BOA used to provide good service, what happened to them? I hope BOA top manager can read this email.

Customer penalized for teller error
I deposited two checks on 09/07 at the drive-thru and the teller gave me a receipt...for my total deposit and I went on my way. Four days later I received a letter from BOA that they are taking the funds back from one of those checks because the check was "lost". Lost? I didn't deposit it in a machine, I deposited with a human being.
After numerous calls and visits to my local branch, I am being told that it was lost in transit, in a machine that handles over 7 million checks a day, and they will not refund my money. Every month on the same date I deposit a check in that exact amount.
I have been a customer with this corporation for more than 20 years. I depend on that check every month. I am close to being in the red because of them. Customer loyalty means nothing to a corporation. I am in the process of transferring to another bank, preferably a local state bank.
How do these people sleep at night? Oh...they have no conscience, I believe they sleep very well.

Making home Affordable
As a former Countrywide customer and now a Bank of America customer I have been told several times that my paperwork is not complete. Since July of 2010, I have resent the supposedly missing documents an additional three times to their fax number, with the appropriate loan number, attn: HOPE TEAM, and still they claim the hold-up is the paperwork not forth coming.
UNDERSTANDING that this is the problem, Since day one with a fed-EX tracing number they are claiming lost paper work included in the envelope. I asked what happens to the envelope with my documents, personal information, and bank account numbers, and every other kind of document asked for lost???? HOW.
The representative could not answer what happens to the envelope upon opening, if it is checked before tossing or if they shred the envelope. She did not have a clue; neither did the other three individuals I spoke too. I worked for Bank of America and the procedure use to be to retain all envelopes for 30 days then shred all the paperwork, but if a customer calls about missing documentation they would have someone go through the dated materials if it wasn’t shredded. I know what I sent them is accurate and I have done my due diligence.
Bank of America does not even contact me or e-mail, or send a letter to inform me that there was a problem, I am the one that has to do all the calling, waiting 45minutes or more to get a quick answer of wait 30 days, then 90 days and I will get a response. I am not the problem. I am beaten and about ready to go through a third party, “Mortgage Attorney”.
I had my hopes up when I had a message from Bank of America, but sadly it was one of their “Advisors” inquiring why I hadn’t sent my payment in. I explained about the problems I have been having and I get the rehearsed I’m sorry. I lost it!
If there is true representation in our government for all of us who are struggling in a declining job market, they need to have strong regulation for the mortgage and banking industry; accountability and fairness. This is our shelter, saved for, cared for and contributes beyond the banking industry’s profits. It houses human beings, pets, establishes community and its community is in need of real help, When anyone of us call’s Bank of America it should be I am happy to help you and mean it! Not the same old rehearsed lines (lies) that it is my fault and I don’t send the paperwork, when it has been sent.
Thanks for the opportunity to sound off!

Fraud
After more than a year of dealing with sheer hell of Bank of America hijacking my life, me, a faithful customer with excellent credit rating, who never missed a payment with them, of BOA trying to force me into foreclosure when they realized how quickly I was paying my mortgage and at the same time messing up my excellent credit score, I came online to post and found numerous websites with literally thousands of victims of BOA who have similar and other stories of being raped by BOA. Too often the victim takes the abuse and lets go of their rightful money and property because they feel like "just a little person." There is no such thing. I am not a little person, and neither are you. Plus, there is great power in numbers. Without its customers, there would be no BOA. Instead of talking about class action suit, let's do it. Email me at petrovak1982 (at) hotmail (dot) com. I would like to set something up and legally make them pay for the evils they inflict upon their victims.
