Repayment Plan
I called the Repayment Financial Hardship dept. and asked for assistance to reduce my monthly payment due to loss of income and they wanted to know my budget. All the details of my life. I found it offensive and they turned me down because I wouldn't tell them my personal expenses.
When I called Wells Fargo they dropped my interest rate more than 1/2 for 12 months until I get on my feet.
Yeah Wells Fargo!!
Who bailed the banks out--the government! Banks need to bail their customers out!

Loan Modifications and Payment Postings fraud!
Bank of America is pure evil!! They are robbing us blind stating that we owe 4 months on our mortgage when we only owe one, mainly because we had to fall behind on our payments to qualify for a loan modification. We used to have Taylor, Bean and Whitaker who went bankrupt and obviously BofA purchased their loans for pennies on the dollar. I have a PMI which guaratees these delinquents about $100, 000 from the government and alot more when they sell this house in foreclosure. Sadly, we fell into hardship when my hours were reduced at work and also the mounting expenses for our disabled son. We have been trying to modify our loan since December 2009 and they obviously are stalling and do not want to help. They will make a lot more money foreclosing on this house. I had to acquire an attorney in April due to their malicious practices and fraudulent behavior with my account. We are extremely upset and have been paying the price emotionally. My hair is falling out. My family is in turmoil because of this. My blood pressure is out of control and goes up dangerously high every time I have to speak to one of these incompetant reps that constantly lie to us. I am taking blood pressure pills everyday now because of all this distress. I am gravely depressed and obsessed with this situation. I have even had suicidal thoughts. This is truly disturbing how they can crush a family like this and cause so much pain and suffering. They have no intention in helping anyone but themselves with our tax money. I had filed a complaint with the Attorney General and he has shown interest in my case and hopefully they will investigate and prosecute to the full extent of the law Mr. Moynihan (CEO) and all of the other voltures involved in this. They need to be stopped!!!

Loan Modification
I have been working with BOA since March 2009 for a loan modification of my mortgage, since Countrywide sold my mortage to them. I have a stack of paperwork that was faxed to them over this period that would make up 2 Honolulu directory phone book. Each time I called them they passed me to a different negotiators and stated that they don't have any papers that I faxed and to faxed them again, mind you this is the 40th time faxing over the same paperwork. In December I notice that my interest statemet was way less than my 2007, only to find out my mortgage payment was put in a misc account. They claim they do that when you are waiting for a loan modification. Can you believe this $16, 000.00 of my money is a misc. account. I immediately threaten them and told them that I was going to report them to the IRS, they were collecting the interest on my money, that same day they applied the $16, 000.00 to my account. Finally in March I spoke to Robert Procell and he said well looking over our paperwork we did qualify for the Loan Modification and that he will sent the paper to us. On April I contacted him, and stated he sent my paperwork to the automated system to approve and I should have gotten the paperwork on March 17, we I still have not received. I then asked if I would also qualify for the National Home Retention Program, and he stated yes. As of today I still have not received any paperwork, every week I call BOA and again ask me to send more paperwork to them. What kind of f*&#$^% games are they playing. Finally my husband and I complained to the CEO of BOA, he then assigned another negotiator, which then passed on to another and another. Now mind you I have being doing this for over a year. Well we are now with another negotiator who is asking us for more paperwork and a monthly expense, she states list everything down, even if you purchase a stick of gum. Well I listed my cigaretts as park of entainment, she then states President Obama won't approve the cigaretts, I asked her if she spoke to him...haha. Why don't you ask him, since he is a smoker. One week later she calls and states that Making Home Affordable program would put us in paying $3900.00 a month, $1300.00 more than what I am paying. I laugh and told her for that kind of money I could live in a mansion on Hawaii's beaches. Ask them for your original deed and closing documents, they don't have it. The federal govement should shut BOA down, they are ripping everyone off, very poor customer service, rude, talk down to you. Just watch the news on the bad things that BOA is doing to everyone. Write to you congressman, the senators and even Obama if you have too, I will...Check out piggybankblog.com

Bank of America's inept, ruthless collection tactics
Bank of America used Northstar Location services to collect on a bad debt for a customer who had the same name as my husband and lived in the same state. After they called my 72 yr old mother-in-law and told her she was stupid, I called them to put a stop to it. They told me that I was a bad mother and needed to get off the phone, leave my dead beat husband, and take care of my kids. They then called my husband who left work to handle it in person with the only BOA branch he has ever dealt with. The branch manager called the collection office to tell them they had the wrong man, but things continued to spiral out of control within the next few weeks.
We pulled my husband's credit reports and found a lot of cross reporting with this other man. BOA was the only bank that the man and my husband both did business with. We disputed all the incorrect information. Yet, BOA sent us letters saying they had been notified of our bankruptcy by Transunion (we have NEVER filed for bankruptcy, and when I immediately requested a copy of my husband's Transunion credit report, everything was fine). However, once BOA mixed their information of my husband and the other man, suddenly, my mortgage company and the company we had our truck loan through contacted us about our supposed bankruptcy. Many hours were spent proving our identity with all three credit bureaus, and everyone we did and did not have credit through. We put freezes on everyone's credit in the house, disputed all inaccuracies with the bureaus, and we closed our savings and checking accounts and our credit card with Bank of America. The last credit reports we pulled were totally correct.
That was almost two years ago. Recently, we wanted to refinance our house and lifted the freezes on our credit to do so. Immediately, my mother-in-law was called by BOA, and though our credit reports were great with scores of the upper 700s and lower 800s, my loan officer asked me about a "judgment pending" on my mortgage. She could see no reason why there had been such a thing and needed to get my mortgage company and BANK OF AMERICA on the phone. I hit the roof. Why would we ever need to talk to Bank of America? My mortgage company says they have no idea what is going on, and BOA says the same. What the heck is going on? I pulled all 6 credit reports before we lifted the credit freezes, and they were completely correct. BOA needs to be smacked with a class action lawsuit!

Scam
I have a VISA credit card issued by Bank of America and used it to purchase foreign currency from a foreign currency exchange service in Birmingham, MI.
Bank of America treated this as a cash advance and charged me a hefty transaction fee of 4 % PLUS interest on "cash advance".
I explained to Bank of America that this was a regular purchase, i.e. the exchange rate charged by the foreign currency exchange service includes their profit. Bank of America is unwilling to refund these charges, the merchant claims he processed a regular credit card transaction (although his web site did not mention the possibility of such extra transaction fees).
I feel this is another example of credit card issuers taking advantage of customers by charging transaction fees on purchases that they deem to be cash equivalent, whereas customers think this is an ordinary purchase.

Fees
During the last month, I had 3 large unfortunate things happen to me in which I had to transfer money from my savings to my checking to make several repairs on my home and car. Because I made more than 3 transfers/withdraws of money from my savings to my checking in a 30 day period, I was charged a $9 fee. When I complained, I was told the fee was disclosed in the extremely large packet of information that I received when I opened my account. I argued that when emergencies happen, and I need my money, I am not worried about looking through massive amounts of paper to see if there is a fee involved.
They did not care. They would not reverse the stupid $9 fee. I cannot believe that a company as large as BOA would stoop so low as to steal this money from hard working people.
I told them I was going to start researching other banks so that I could transfer my accounts out. BOA is a rip off. Do not bank with them. They are only out to take your money any way they can.

Home remod
Dellany Hall to Brian, Barbara, Price, Jon
show details 7:56 PM (23 minutes ago)
I am writing to let you know that we have been trying to get our home remodification loan worked out thru discount mortgage relief for about a year now. Our original home loan was thru Taylor, Bean & Whittaker then was sold to citifinancial before we knew anything about it and our first letter from them stated we were multiple months behind, which we were NOT as we were on the equity excellerator program with them which always had us a month ahead, they would not work with us even though I had proof all the way back to april of 2009 that it had been taken out of our bank account each two week period, before I could get this worked out with citifinancial it was sold to Bank of America and we got no help there either to put us on equity excellerator program as the funds from Taylor, Bean and Whittaker had been frozen so it looked like we were behind from July of 09 thru Sept. 09 which of course we were NOT at that time behind we were always one month ahead. I tried talking to someone at bank of america with no results as stated they could not work with us until the account had been brought current which at that time it was but since then we have tried home remod. loan with discount mortgage relief and I have sent paperwork, after paperwork, after paperwork to them as requested by bank of america and still no home remodification has been done and as stated before this has been going on almost a year now with NO results or remodification done. It should by no means take this long, at most it should only take about four to five months not almost a year. We have been given different loan processors; have gone thru three loan processors thru discount mortgage relief to the point that I am wondering if they are not working with bank of america to make us loose our home. We received paperwork in the mail on saturday July 17, 2010 from law office stating it was a motion-order-notice of an amendment of the last paperwork we got from same law office, when I called the mortgage relief they just told me that it is a scare tactic by bank of america to the home owner and that they will wait until about five or six days before the sale date is set before they will give in and say OK we will work with you on home remodification loan. This type of thing should not happen is not right nor acceptable and I am with Jon vs Bank of America. Until all this happened and we were still with Taylor, Bean and Whittaker we were NEVER late on the first payment so again I say this should not happen, is not right nor acceptable for people to be strung along like this for so long just to have their home taken away from them or have them hang in limbo not knowing what is going to happen to them or where they are going to live if their home is taken thru unscrupulous measures by a bank or mortgage lender. This is America where things like this are not supposed to happen especially when the banks have received their bailouts and are now riding hard all those people who thru no fault of their own have lost a job or had their home loan taken over by someone else who is unwilling to work with them to make sure they can stay in their home. The making home affordable plan is/should be just that, working with people who are due to the down economy having a hard time making their payments and not being able to find work and have drawn out on unemployment due to not being able to find work. I support John Wright vs Bank of America

Illegal Fees and charges
God. Bank of America SUCKS. They are AWFUL...I was charged FOUR FEEs, totaling $35 each, which are still processing, and they claim they cannot reverse until tomorrow, to see what my "relationship" is with the bank. (I have been a "client" since 1992!) I am going to my credit union this Friday to open up an account there.
BOFA has uniformly been AWFUL. The customer service has always SUCKED, they hire kids who could not care less, and who no doubt have no problemo working for such a corrupt company. Everyone who has accounts here should DO THE SAME AS MYSELF- Go to your NEIGHBORHOOD BANK and open a new account!
DO NOT give your money away to these crooks ANY LONGER...

The law firm of Salehi & Associates was recently retained by a client who, upon opening a Bank of America account, received a letter from Smart-Step Protector Insurance claiming that he had enrolled in one of Smart-Step's insurance policies. Salehi & Associates is investigating allegations that Bank of America improperly divulged personal information to third parties and/or that Smart-Step improperly obtained said information. We are currently looking into this matter, and are interested in any information or assistance that other Bank of America account holders would be able to provide. Please visit our site at www.salehiclassaction.com for further details on how to contact us. Thank you very much for your time and attention.
