Ostling office and office manager
i began my bankruptcy in june of 2009 and after meeting with 3 different lawyers finally things could get under way. i began making payments and called to get advise and for a week i called and called with no call back from the lawyer that was supposed to let you know if certain things could be written off or not. so when i finally called 5 times in one day and held for on the line for 20 minutes she finally answered my questions and advised me that i had 2 years for my bankruptcy to remain open and had 2 years total to pay in full. i felt a little relief because $100 isn't easy to give up now a days. so after making payments when i could i called in and spoke with office to get final day the payment could be made and now they say you only have one year. so now the money is due within 2 and a 1/2 months and they dont even care that is was a lawyer that gave me the so called deadline information. what are you there for if you cant give correct information. then on top of that the rude and short bloomington office manager acted like it hurt to do her job and couldn't even be professional. i would have been ok even if i got an "i'm sorry for the wrong information being given to you " but no, nothing resembling an apology was given. i mean what am i paying $1000 for? to be talked to like garbage? facts are your office is sloppy and there is no reason a LAWYER should be giving the wrong information and no reason for an unprofessional office manager. she needs some customer service training so get it together...
