Hello, My name is Michael and I recently responded to an ad that said bartenders are in need. Well, nervous to make the call in the first place, I got ahold of their company and was told that there were some positions in my area after they did a search. So I decided to give it a shot, after all for less than $100 to be able to get trained, get a instructional DVD, and certified by their company, I said what the heck. To my surprise, when I got the product in the mail it was an amazing book called Mixology 101. It was up to date, well written, and had fantastic study material. The film, "Beyond The Bar" really helped me get the knowledge together to properly pour a drink, layer a drink, and blend a drink. I am writing this not to bragg but to let others know that this is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that wants to get into the bartending industry and that don't have $400 to pay for a bartender classroom. The book is good and so is the DVD. Once I got certified, I was provided with some location(s) and to my disbelief, I GOT HIRED at the Circus Disco just outside of L.A. Its awesome!! I make $500 some nights. Thanks USBA for taking the time to register me, and get me into this great profession.
