well this is not actually a COMPLAINT. i just wanted to reach out to you people. Ive been a Customer Service representative of TELEBRANDS product for almost a year. So basically we all know the rules. thers not a day goes by that there is NO irate customers over the phone. majority complaints are abt the misrepresentation of the product. We apologize in our most humble tone, - thats part of the script. i feel disgusted that i have to cover up for the company when more than thousands are being scammed. ALL the product of TELEBRANDS has one BUSINESS RULE, that is, ITS A BUY ONE GET ONE FOR FREE. yes, you might consider it a bargain, imagine 2 for a price of ONE. but hell, no! all the products as advertised is $10. but since its a BOGO (BUY GET ONE) customers has to pay shipping and handling twice!!
there are different ways in placing order. First is by AUTOMATED PHONE, customers will be asked how many they wanted, thinking the promotion of BOGO, they will say "2" not knowing it meant 2 sets. if get processed, customer automatically gets 4 products and has to pay shipping and handling for EACH of the prodcuct! One order are processed and shipped out, it is tru that we can no longer modify order nor cancel. we could offer discounts otherwise customers needs to pay the postage in shipping it back. what a ripped off!!
2nd, cust could placed order by the website. they will be asked to provide first their credit card infos! and by the end of the order; whether you confirmed or not it will go through without any confirmation no!
yes, the company offers a 30 day money abck guarantee. but SAD to say, shipping and handling are NEVER refundable. so for 1 set of a product which is supopose to be $10 and shippinga nd handling of $6.99 for each = $23.98, only $10 will be refunded and whats worse customers will shoulder the postage in shipping it back.
