doesn,t work
I got the bark off 6 months ago i still use it but she still barks everytime some one knocks on the door . I am tring to train her but it still not working. Sorry i got the item.

Bad customer service
Bark Off ripped me off, also! I ordered one 6 months ago -- they charged me for two. I also ordered the ac/dc charger -- they never sent it.
You can't get through to customer service to do anything about it -- just keep getting a message to call back.
It doesn't stop dogs from barking, either. The product is a scam, and those selling them ought to be put out of business!
I wasted over $50 for nothing. Anyone who buys one of these (count on being charged for two of them) will be very dissappointed. Wish I knew sooner!

Did not orderor recieve
This places keeps sending me a bill for a Bark off. First letter I did not even know what a bark off was. Send a hand written letter back telling them or asking what in the h----- is a bark off . Know I now from the TV news report . Also have seen it for sale at Walgreens and other stores for 9.99. I have sent another letter informing them I have not received a Bark off .Nothing from UPS or Fedex or mail no box has come to my house. These people keep sending me collection notices . I will not pay for something I have never ordered or received. Also why would I buy one from them if I wanted one when I could purchase it in town where I could return it with out trouble.Why would I pay 21.45 for that when it is 9.99 in stores. I understand how hard things are, but trying to get money from people that tell you Hey I did not order nor did I receive it. I do have copy's of letters I have sent them. And I will also send a letter of complaint to the BBB about this company in Iowa.

I purchase one delux model, I received 4 and I was charged $73.94, I'm debating the charges with my A/E card.

Bark off is a rip off and FRAUD
I ordered a buy one/get one option which was supposed to be $ for $9.99 total. When I went to check out on the site, they had charged me $19.98 for the 2 (it was not a buy 1, get 1 free offer like they had advertised). Additionally, they had added 2 more barkoff items...one "Delus Platinum model # 4184A for $10.99and also Deluse Barkoff at discounted price model #4184C for $19.99. After shipping charges, the total was $80.93, for what started as a $9.99 purchase. Furthermore, I only received the Bonus Bark off # 4184B and it does not even work to keep my neighbors dogs from barking. It doen't even work in the same room with my own dogs. Total rip off and this organization should be required to refund all the money to those that got ripped off as well as fined for their fraudulent claims.

DOESN"T WORK
This thing is worthless. It was featured on a website by Publishers Clearing house. I was told it would be about $4.99 with shipping and the bill was over $17.oo. No return information on the product just an invoice for payment. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU CAN NOT TELL IF IT WORKS. THERE IS NO INDICATOR LIGHT. My dog just barks anyway . It goes back somewhere and no payment will be given

Fraud
I went on www.buybarkoff.com to get the by 1 for 9.99 and get one free plus shipping and handling . I upgraded to the deluxe so I could get the adapter, but I never received an adapter. I would have not upgraded in the first place if I knew the adapter was separate. The website is very deceptive and does not allow you to go back to review your purchase. The fact that the credit card information has to be put in first should be a tip off. I called customer service and complained and they claim to be giving me a $15 refund back on my credit card. I am not to confident in them.

Company of thieves
I returned the Bark Off product because it did not work on one of my dogs, and freaked out the other. I returned via USPS for a cost of $2.26 (USD). Two weeks later, I received a refund of $10.00 (USD) even though I spent a total of $27.88 (USD). The amount may seem inconsequential to some, but it's just plain thievery that it cost me nearly $20.00 for a substandard product that I returned.
I have had it with these types of companies and scams! And they wonder why more and more people are becoming "postal."

BATE AND SWITCH
I orders 2 bark off standard model fro $10 and was to receive 2 more with extra s& h. THe phone computer would not let you close out the sale after you give them your Credit card info. It keep going on and on. After finally hanging up in 3 days I get the Platinum model for $80 for 4. I called them and the best they would do was to give me $15 refund.
AND THE THINGS DON'T WORK.
I have been to other sites and you will find many bate and switch complaints. You can return them and loose your $20 shipping.
