To whom it may concern

I recently bought a book on Prostate Secrets from Barton Publishing on the 28th of January 2009, since than I have been charged by Wellness watchers as well for some unknown reason which I have not authorized. The charged Items are listed below.

The first charge, I will accept, but the other two dated 29/January and 24/february I will not.

Please investigate why this has been charged to my visa card and please have the money refunded

Charges were made to my VISA card on 9/04/08 $17.00 and 9/15/08 for 19.95 by Barton Publishing. I have no record of ordering or receiving anything from them. wellnesswatchersMD credit card scam may be connected to this.

I ordered a sale-priced computer program. It was for a lady who does
NOT use a computer. It was for a booklet, on sale for 19.95 plus 3.95 shipping. The bill was sent, and there was things added which raised the price to $53.80. Now, I did particularly state that the lady - Jean
X did NOT operate a computer, and we only wanted the DiabetesCure
Report. I tried various ways of contacting them, but there didn't seen
to be a way to tell this to a person. She and I both agree we wanted the report, but will not pay them $53.80!
Now, I am sure that part of the problem is my lack of internet skill, but
charging for more than I ordered (which, incidently was never received). The stuff we received was OK. The lack of an easy for way

I purchased a report from Barton Publishing, and they forwarded my credit card details to
Wellness Watchers MD. This company has been taking money from my credit card for two months.

I have tried to contact them to cancel, but as I never joined them in the first place it has proved difficult to do.

I have since cancelled my credit card all together so they can no longer take any money out.

I recently purchased an online GERD report from Barton Publishing for $19.95 which was provided without any problems. However, Barton Publishing passed on my credit card details to Well Watchers MD who have been debiting my credit card for $29.95 per month for something that I did not authorise nor want. Barton Publishing have advised that I "agreed" to the subcription to Well Watchers MD by not opting out after a supposed 14 days free trial of whatever it is they provide. This apparently is buried in the wording of the Barton Publishing invoice for the original GERD report.

I have attempted to cancel the unauthorised subscription to Well Watchers MD but as I don't have a user name nor password I am finding this very difficult and I have had to go to the trouble of contacting my financial institution to have my credit card cancelled and a new one issued, with all of the attendant hassles this entails.

Anyone considering doing business with Barton Publishing should be aware of their unethical business practices and should be very wary of providing them with their credit card details.
