Highly recommend that you use caution if you should hire this company. They underbid the job, are extremely slow and are not consistent in their work ethics. Very poor craftsmanship and workmanship, door openings not squared, slate tiles not straight, wall not squared or plumbed in our basement project. It is obvious that the use of a square ruler or plumb line was NEVER used. If you use them, stay on top of their payment draws and be sure you get the materials you paid for per the contract. I was duped and paid for materials that was never provided. This is where Basement Pros work the system. He gets your money per the draws but does not complete the work per the schedule. Often needs a draw payment before the work is done/completed. DO NOT USE this company. The owner is charming but not a good business person. Highly suggest that you avoid this company and any connections to the owner and his business partner. Shower stall had to be ripped of slate because the shower liner was not installed correctly and upon removing the liner, found that drywall was used instead of cement board per the home improvement code/guidelines. Did not use fire resistant cement board 4" around the double-sided fireplace surround as stated in the installation manual. This is a honest and truthful review. Be aware! Perhaps our basement job was too big for them, who knows but we were duped. (items paid for per contract but never provided by contractor - granite countertop, flooring, cabinets)
