A few months ago, I had a warranteed basement waterproofing system installed in my cellar. Unfortunately, the engineers (?) were unable to determine the full extent of the problem. Since my cellar was still wet, after their installation, I called the company but was told, by a young woman, that it was a humidity problem. I found it difficult to believe that there would be a severe humidity problem in the dead of winter. Eventually I was able to get someone from the company to come and look at the problem; it was determined that they had not foreseen the entire problem. There was a second attempt to fix the problem but this, too, was unsuccessful. I scheduled a third appointment to have them, hopefully, fix the problem. They did not show up, as scheduled, nor did I receive a phone call that day or the next. I called the morning after the missed appointment and was told that Steve would return my call that afternoon. Since I didn't hear from Steve, I called the company but was sent to an answering machine. There have been numberous missed appointments (varying excuses) and phone calls that have not been returned. In more than one instance, I have had company representatives tell me that they staned behind their product/contract. As a senior citizen who put her faith in this company, I am reminded that their bad press was correct. Obviously, I am going to have to follow up with this problem through an outside agency (ies).
