I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's 13th birthday party which was on June 7th. I received a call from the manager on 6/4 because he supposedly lost my invoice. I left my job to re-do my order. However on Saturday when I go to pick up the cake, its not the cake I ordered. When I ask for a refund they give me the run around because their worker messed up my receipt. I paid $45.99 for the cake. When writing up my receipt the prior receipt information was imprinted on my receipt.
My cake was paid for in full upon me ordering the cake and I am getting no cooperation from Baskins Robbin in getting my money refunded. My daughter and her 30 guests did not have a cake to celebrate with. All I want is my money back$45.99 and to file this complaint against them. I am being treated unfairly because of an error on their part. I am single parent and my daughter was very disappointed because she specifically requested that I get the cake from Baskins Robbins. If that is how they treat customers then they need to go out of business.
