It's a rip off - don't use
I was in France the other day and used my credit card to make a phone call. Was connected to a BBG operator and then "transferred" to my call, which was disconnected. I then check my bank statement and was charged $40US dollars for a phone call I never got to complete...on top of it all, my bank tells me there is nothing they can do since I do not have any documentation to prove my call. I would never use a credit card on a pay phone again and urge everyone to boy cot this organization, especially since they are not answering emails or letters of complaints.

Enormous charges
I try to call my wife's mobile from Singapore, she was in Sydney. She never pickup the call. But when I came back to Sydney and saw my credit card statement there was A$20 charge on it from BBG communication - London. Even the date of transaction is wrong on it. Not sure who to talk about this? I am worried if they can charge someone such an amount for only ringing (not talking) how much you would have charged me if I have spoken to wife. Can some one give me their contact number or some other details? Thanks.

Terrible company!
On April 30, 2008, I made a phone call from from Schipol Airport to Amsterdam. I was charged $15.46 for the phone call. I called the company, BBG Communications, San Diego, CA 92101 to file a complaint about the call. They told me that I needed to have checked the rates first. I told them I don't know how that was possible, as there wasn't any information at, in or around the phone booth indicating that the phone call was going to be made through BBG and/or their rates. I also called my credit card co. to file a dispute, which is in process.
They told me, however, that by putting my card into the phone, I authorized BBG to handle the phone call. I said I had no idea, or information, that when I put my credit card into the phone for a normally $.25 phone call, 10 minutes away, that it was going to be made by a company in San Diego, Ca., 6000 miles away, for $15. I wasn't informed or given any choices to continue or discontinue the transaction.

They got us too
My wife and I just returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic. While in the D.R. we called our home in middle Tennessee to check on our son. We used a credit card when making the call from our hotel room. No rates were present on the phone and no price info was ever given, before, during or after the call. The next day, I was contacted by my credit card company as they were verifying some out of country charges. Two charges were from BBG totalling over $70.00. I never even heard of BBG until the credit card company called!
