My fiance purchased a brand new 2006 Ford Explorer and has had all scheduled maintenance performed on time, oil changes etc. For the past 6 months she is SCARED TO DEATH to drive her truck anywhere. Her vehicle will simply die while driving, not idle, while going 60 mph on the interstate, making turns coming off an off ramp and everything locks up. Last night while coming home from work at the hospital her vehicle died AGAIN on the middle of the interstate bringing her to a complete stop, in the dark, in the pouring rain!!! This is about the 15th time this has happened over the last six months. We have paid numerous repair costs to fix this or that but the problem persists. I began requesting to speak to a manager Steve Spinx who is never available and i must leave a voicemail message. After leaving 4 voicemail messages as well as messages with his secretary I have still yet to hear from this General manager. I am a supervisor in customer care and i believe you get further by being polite and courteous but i am well beyond being polite. I am concerned about the safety of my family.
