Left car for repair of A/C blower not working. This problem was fixed but damage was done to driver seat and A/C switch background facings. 06/23/2009 AM dropped off car for repairs. 06/26/2009 5:20PM picked up car. Invoice number FOCS330966. Service advisor, Vemon Ford. Customer number, 86579. 2000 Ford Focus, Silver, 111, 857 mites. Payment amount: $288.52 on Visa. Picked up car late in the day on Friday, 06/26/2009. Checked that A/C fan operated in all speeds and A/C was functional. On the way home my left lower back became uncomfortable. I tried to adjust the seat back to tilt forward. The recline mechanism was inoperable. Once home, I took a look at the seat. The lower left side of the seat back had a hole in the fabric. There were fresh scrape marks on the fabric and I couk feel the metal frame through the fabric. At night when I turned on the lights, I noticed that the instrument faces for the A/C heat control and fan speed switch were badly scratched. On Monday, 06/29/2009, I took it back to the dealership and showed them the damage and asked that it be corrected. They denied responsibility and said they could have the owner call me, I asked them to have him do so. I have filed a dispute with the Visa charge until the matter is resolved.
Your Desired Resolution:
Repair seat recline mechanism. Repair damage to lower left driver seat cushion and fabric. Replace damaged A/C control facings.
