Thx to everyone who posted their complaints about BELFORD HIGH SCHOOL. I was just one step away to order a what they call "Graduation Package" for $249. Thx a lot for your comment. Now i'm gonna get my GED instead, i wish you, who are seeking for a diploma, do the same thing.

This company is by far the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, I contacted after seeing their website, I called because I had questions about their high school diploma's they offer, they advice me they needed my credit card number just to keep it in record, if I decided to proceed and use their services, after a brief conversation I decided that I needed to do more research on this company, since I felt the representative on the phone was more interested on selling me more of their degrees other than answering my concerns, I then adviced him I needed more time to consider this, he told me to call him back within 2 hours and that while I considered using their products I would see a transaction on my bank account for $291.60 I adviced him I did not want anything charged to my card, he said it was not a purchase it was just a good faith transaction and that while I considered this they would need to place this transaction, we hang up and I decided to check online because I did not trust him anymore, sure enough this people had already run my card and taken $291.60 from my account, I called my back and they told me they couldn't help me because when you provide your Credit card or Debit card to a merchant you have essentially engaged them, and they can then charge your account for whatever amount they claim you wanted.
I then called Belford back and asked to speak to John the original rep. who helped me he said that I couldn't cancel I adviced him I never consented to the transaction anyway, he then told me that he couldn't give me anything back, I told him I had just barely spoken to him and that I didn't want anything, he sounded upset and was very rude I asked to speak to a Supervisor and he said there was none, he said they are all counselors, he finally Transfered me to a person named Calvin who had the same attitude, he offer to refund me $150.00; Which I refused, he then said that if I called back again they would charge me another $300.00 and that because I gave them my card number they could legally do that, this just happened two hours ago, I feel violated and completey helpless, I file a complaint with BBB but, but this will not help because according to the better BBB they are graded a "F", because they never respond to the complaints files against them, I called my bank back and the best they could do is cancel my debit card and issue a new one, I spoke to one of their fraud investigators and he repeated the same, once you give your card to a merchant you engaged them and they can charge your account, my only option is to return the product and only then I can file a dispute, otherwise I'm on my own.
If anyone in this forum has disputed this fees before please share your experience I would like to know how to proceed going forward, there must be a govertment agency that investigates this type of entities, According to the BBB this School is not accredited and does not have any licences, and no law enforcement agency has ever investigated them, the Bank Rep. said that although the way they obtain your debit card even if they lie, like in this case there still is nothing they can do.

BRING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND CONTACT THE BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU, CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THE FCC. CONTACTING GOOGLE EXECS CALLING INVESTOR RELATIONS TELLING THEM TO POSSIBLY REMOVE THEM FROM THEIR WEBSEARCH.POST A SCAM LOOK OUT ON ALL WEB.
