I live in Detroit, Michigan. The only channel that comes in well in this stupid digital format is channel 20. At 12:30 am, there is this religious talk show that comes on. Two ladies sitting there reading from the bible and waiving their arms around yelling, "PRAISE THE LORD." I have no problem with religion at all, but when you start getting American history facts wrong, to benefit your own preachings, that is where I draw the line.
There is a short and stout lady that does all the talking, then there is the tall and thin lady that confirms every statement of the other lady with, "praise the lord."
So anyways, the subject of the discussion is Americas "Great Awakening."
1.) First fact she got wrong: She says the Great Awakening Started in the 1850's, and then continued the statement saying "The 13 American colonies have not yet united."
2.) This one really ticked me off: The day after the broadcast was made about the Great Awakening, she started telling a story about a preacher in the colonies. She was saying how the preacher made some statement about the colonies being "under god." She then stated that that's where the line in the American Pledge of Allegiance came from, which was written in the 1850's.
Do not watch this garbage! It is full of false statements, that they use to benefit themselves and warp the minds of the listeners. They are idiots and religious maniacs.
