I had a Bell Expressvu satellite system instaelled in 2000. I had no problem with them until after I transferred to a new location in August of 2002. During August 2002 I advised Bell Expressvu I was being transferred and would not be re-activating the system with them until sometime in the spring or early summer of 2003 due to finding a new residence. I received a new dish the first week I arrived at my new address which is still in the box it came in. During Feb. 2003 I received a bill from them requesting payment for the months from Sept. 2002 to that time.I called a company rep. and advised hoim of this billing error. He stated it was not an error as I had not told them I was not de-activating the system in 2002. I told him I did requ3st to be de-activated and that the dish was still in it original carton un-opened and also that I have had a cable TV system since Sept. 2002. He refused to resolve this matter and told me they would ruin my credit ratingt if I failed to pay the bill. Now daily I receive a phone call from a collection agency requesting $236.00 for Bell Expressvu. Today I called the collection agency and advised them I do not owe Bell any money. I then called Bell Expressvu and after being put on hold for several minutes I spoke with a female rep. and explain the situation to her. She said I owed Bell Expressvu the money and then hung up on me!!!! I could not beleive a company rep. could be so rude and ignorent! Next time the collection agency calls me I am advising them to cease calling me or I will be requesting the local Police to lay Criminal Harassment charges on them. These calls are nothing but harassment!
