Beware, there packages are not what they say they are. Well read on, actually they are, they just do not bother to tell you what happens if the minutes run out. Here are the hidden costs of dealing with Bell for long distance cell phone packages.
My husband and I looked ahead and purchase a long distance package to protect our cell phone charges. Well we purchased 15 mins and data. Fine. But here this. When the 15 minutes runs out they charge a whopping 1.45 cents a minute thereafter. And this is more than what you would have paid anywhere else. I called to say what was the minute charge... the agent proudly 'protecting Bell said, well you ran over your minutes, so we charged you $1.45 per minute. Then she said, next time buy more minutes. Is that not the same as saying, too bad stupid. Personally I think this is unconscionable pricing. At least they could have charged 40 or 50 cents a minute. But no, they take the opportunity to really hit you hard. Because they can. And they will. And it legal, so Bell is on my tell everyone 'buyer beware' they can hit you when you least expect it. And then she says 'thank you for choosing Bell, have a nice day. Hey hey, I am so mad I could spit at their business practices and billing policies.
